Not now, silent singer. Not now!! biggrin

Well that was good, half an hour seems too short for it though.

Good stuff. Steve Pemberton as the "simple" bloke is my fave.

Enjoyed that. Mr Jolly is a classic character. Dawn French getting killed in episode one is also a major bonus for the rest of the series, so long as she stays dead.

We watched this last night (well, the mrs did, I was listening whilst playing World of tanks...). It is funny, very 'League of Gentleman'-ish...

Tina Turner = TV gold!

Am liking the librarian, in the first ep when he called on the lady who hadn't returned the book,

Lady: If you don't leave I'll call my husband!

Librarian: Does he know where the book is then?

I thought ep 2 was infinitely better than episode 1. It had me laughing out loud numerous times.

Tia Turner aside, I'm finding it boring.

I'm finding series 2 very hit and miss, only the second episode made me laugh. Although the Tina Turner bit is almost worth the whole series being unfunny!

Mr Jelly trying to get the old woman out of the care house was one of the best bits so far, I can't wait to find out the silent singers role in all this.

I have a Slayer t-shirt. Since 'that' character wore one the other week, I have been ridiculed mercilessly.

There is something about their dark humour and the wickedly observed charicatures that I find totally absorbing.

And who else here has pinched the phrase "human tod"?

Seems to be a Hull phrase - Reece Shearsmith is a Hull lad. Bod Tod is another favourite (bird poo).

I think the series is getting better and better - I almost didn't bother to tune in again after episode one which I thought was very poor - the clown funeral could have been written by a child.
