Before the events of today I was thinking of changing my Sunday paper anyway (i've grown up a bit since i started getting the NOTW!) but obviously that change has now been forced upon me.
I now need a new Sunday paper.
My main criteria is it must be news focused and have a very good Sport section especially rugby union. Also needs good technology and music sections.

Any recommendations.

Sunday Times - it's exactly the same stories just with longer words and fewer pictures. Plus it's good value for money in terms of kg/£ wink

just get one of the qualities, they each have a different style and political bias - find one that suits you

Sunday Times
Sunday Telegraph
Observer
Independent on Sunday

do not confuse toilet paper such as Mail/Express as quality

Yes, but then so did 2.5 million other people each Sunday.

Is it a regional thing? I can genuinely say I know of no one (NW) who reads it, or the Express!

Far too many Daily Wail readers though!

I expect a new Sunday paper to soon be available. Expect it to be named 'The Not The News of The World'.

I used to get the NOTW for the sport but the Sunday Times has a much better written sport section and obviously once you have finished with the sport you've also got a newspaper to read which is a bonus.

I usually end up with war and peace...sorry The Sunday Times, enjoy reading it over coffee on a sunday afternoon with the F1\Moto GP on.

Though i am trying to find out if i can get the times electronically on ablackberry playbook?

But the likes of the guardian, Sun and NOTW have never darkened my door, or the mail for that matter

Sunday papers are pretty ghastly IMO. Most of the content is written weeks in advance and they just wrap a bit of current news around the outside of the old stuff. The style of writing has become very long-winded as writers struggle to fill large amounts of available space with relatively little information.

If I'm up and about I just glance at Andrew Marr's newspaper review for 10 minutes and then leg it into the great outdoors!

Just buy "The World of News" when it's released in a fortnight.

More likely you haven't met anyone who admits to it. Just like everybody shops in Waitrose on here hehe
