:cough: You certainly can create an iTunes account without a card. See, now you hate Apple for something that's not even true biggrin

There's a reason the entire world likes Apple products - it bring design and user-friendliness together like no one has ever done before. Name any other brand and none have such a following because none have nailed the 'suits most of the people most of the time' requirement.

My apple products battery life is fine. My Dells is not.

My iPhone can make calls, email, Internet, notes, copy, paste, play music, tell me the weather, shares reports, Facebook, access my bank accts, photos, text, calendar, be a torch, see a cinema time etc all equally well and in a way I never could before in a way that just works. My blackberry can make calls and calendar well. The rest is ste and user un-friendly.

I have no desire to hack it

I have no issue with iTunes or the app store

I'm not in IT. I just want st to work. And Apple products work.

I have neither love nor hate for Apple products. However I find the price of the iPhone truly astounding once the upfont bill and required contract are added together.

I bought a Dell Streak running Android for £200 in the Carphone Warehouse sale, and have inserted a £7.50/month data only sim which works great for me. If I had enough money to be a proper PH'er then maybe I'd have an iPhone but I struggle to understand why people pay so much for them.

Oh wow thats so simple any idiot could work it out without a degree in rocket and computer science!!!!!

Thats why people dislike apple. They make things which should be simple and intuitive difficult and complex.

Maybe within the tiny little parameters that apple want you to use it in.
I have now installed itunes on the wifes pc.
I have now set up and I tunes account for her.

Still buggered how I just get these bleeding files onto the electronic placemat.

To quote the poet Tupac 'Homosexual' Shakur (1971-1996):

"I made a G today"
But you made it in a sleazy way; paying middleman to overwork poor people until they commit suicide.
"I gotta get paid,"
Well hey, well that's the way it is.
What a misguided and, frankly, shockingly naive and inept post.

Do you know how many people work in that factory?

I think you might find that the suicide rate in the factory is lower than in the general local population.
