My facile & worthless contribution to this thread.

Her & Louise Mensch fighting it out in a paddling pool of sunflower oil.

She's an attention seeker. No other explanation required for her behaviour.

Sadly, politics seems to be attracting far too many people of this calibre.

What could it possibly be?
I think it is Ashton Kutcher in a violet frock and blond wig.
What's you're point?
Paper head bag or a clown mask would sort it hehe

Time to bribe some corrupt foreign governments to secure the Typhoon exports we desperately need. The potential Indian deal is worth 10 billion and it's now between the Typhoon and the French Rafale.

The Indians already use the Mirage 2000 so guess where that order will go.

They also use Hawks. And Jaguars. That makes the score 1:1 (in terms of fast jets)

Also, compared to us the French seem pretty switched on and ruthless recently IMO.

They seem to be up there on nuclear power, supply plenty of electricity to us (and I presume other parts of Europe). Their trains dominate ours. They had the balls to ban the Burka. We have decided to buy trains from Siemens rather than our own British company, EU laws withstanding I can't imagine the French allowing the same thing to happen.

I feel that they'd be more likely to do what it takes (whatever that is) to win a contract with the Indians than us.

My perception of the French may be completely wrong in reality, but that's how I perceive them to be.

yes

The reason we hate the French: They look after their own interests first.

The reason we admire the French: They look after their own interests first.

The Jaguar is at least half French. The Hawk uses a part French engine.

Obviously I didn't watch Celeb BB, that would be stupid, but what little I know of Sally Bercow I quite like her. She likes a drink, played the field and doesn't tow her husbands party line. Better that than the normal, boring, anodyne politician spouses.

But they also bought Hermes off of us and the Sea Harrier's to go on her. Plus they're top of the list (if the story is to be believed) to take one of the new Carriers if our idiot politicians decide to sell one as soon as it's been built. Add to that the amount of Bribes (sorry) Foreign Aid we supply to them and the Typhoon may look like a better deal.

However, thinking about it more, if they did get a CV Aircraft Carrier, then they'd need something to fly off it, so another point to the Rafaele.
