I wonder how some of today's acceptable behaviour will be judged in 20/30 years time. Eg Celebrity Juice is based around leering at Holly Willoughby etc. Sure it's comedy & can be pretty funny. But in 2030 there may be an outcry over this kind of thing. You can easily see current stars lining up to say how they was abused on prime time TV etc. In much the same way as some of the more 'innocent' accusations of what happened 20 years ago. Wrong by today's rules but not so much then. Obviously the illegal stuff etc is a different matter entirely..

As I havent bothered actually looking up any of the accusations, what exactly is being said? Is it that he went after the under 12s? The underage teens? Or the "developed" girls or young female employees of the Beeb?
Basically almost everyone you have mentioned. In partcular, he seemed to make use of his access to children in care homes or special schools. Thoroughly reprehensible in every way.

From what I saw in the doc, it seemed to be under-age teens. The doc said his interested wore off when they got into their twenties. So developed girls but under-age mostly it seems.Another one out of the closet on ITV lunch news just now. Accused Freddie Star of groping her at 14 on a Savile show, Freddie denies ever being on the show, ITV find footage of Star with said girl behind him in the audience on a Savile show, Freddie appears outside his house not looking too good, sounded like he'd been drinking still denying anything ever happened.
