It would make a bad situation worse for the family. If the conclusion turns out to be (as most people expect) "He probably did much of what was alleged but obviously he's not here to respond" then they will replace it with a standard one. Not least if his knighthood is revoked it could be redone without that, although personally I don't agree that it should be done in this case.
I would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for you meddling kids!

At the end of the day what will any of this achieve?
1. If he is guilty he cannot be tried in a court of law so he will never legally be guilty of anything
2. This all happened decades ago so the BBC ITV etc mgt all changed many many times most are not still working as in retired or left working elsewhere.
3. If formal complaints were made to HR lets get these files where as if its a case of 24 yo "oi cheeky you pinched my bum or cupped my great as I passed" one very different from the other.
4. With regard to the child abuse clearly only evidence is the statements which there seems to be plenty to confirm this did happen - again I question here what is the benefit of the victims of now standing up and talking? Surely this will drag up all those terrible memories but the individual who committed those crimes cannot be punished in any way (unless of course if does matter - I'd assume that may give closure? But would have these victims named not enviable.
5. Potential permanent damage to a charity which is doing good so the needy
If he were alive I'd understand but dead it just then the surviving Saville family (innocent) the charity (innocent) the companies who are drastically different now and no one is still employed so new people trying to explain what others did previously.
Maybe the prevailing good of this would be to raise awareness so that if there are other people now in the same terrible situation. This must be the answer.

As much as the weight of evidence seems to be against him, it seems that due process does not apply to dead people:

No, all they have to do is be sure he is in fact, no longer alive. They can say whatever they like. And jump to any conclusion they like. If he was still alive, you can be sure that this particular interview would have never happened.On a side note, which idiot decided it would be a good idea to have Freddie Starr (69) interviewed with his fiancée (34). Oh the irony. That and the make up, let alone the filthy fingernails, really didn't do him any favours, did it?
And finally, assuming this is all true and the alleged activities were an 'open' secret amongst his contemporaries, who do you think is absolutely crapping themselves at this moment? This story isn't going to end well.
