Last week we were told that due to the budget deficit of 3.6 billion (very coincidental) we have to make spending cuts/increase tax's again. Now this has come to light we apparently still have to go ahead with the cuts, can a smarter man than me explain that to me please? Thanks

It is a moot point who is actually worse off with all this international cross borrowing.
The winners are easier to identify.
