Excellent. Could be some whacking great beasts too, not the little microbes that people once believed we might find on Mars. The combination of cold and deep water could make for some seriously meaty aliens.

First two are great, but if there's a risk of finding the third I think we should reconsider the mission.

Visions of the sequence in 2010: The Year we Make Contact with the critter on Europa! Could well be the best chance we have for finding life in our solar system, (outside the UK that is. smile)
Found water? Extremely useful investment of time and money that. If ever we run out on earth....

First of all, it helps prove the likelihood that water exists in many other places. Secondly it could be used as fuel.
Third, take some hops, yeast and barley, and you have Space Beer.
Forth, take some soil, prepping chemicals and coke plants, and you have space coke.

I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure...

I'd be more worried about the tiny little feckers, the virus, the bacteria, who send pandemics across nations and wipe out the populace.

You never know quite what we could unleash, could be some some nasty little beggars out there.

This chap, Bill Stone, described what the plans are for exploring Europa in the next few years.

He talks about cave exploration to begin with and gets on to Europa at about 5:39.
