Perhaps they should remove the word 'news' from the title then...
Was this morning the first time you have watched the programme? And missed the fact that it wasn't exactly non-stop heavy hitting breaking news when Frank Bough wore those comfy jumpers to present in.

Perhaps they could call it 'News Lite' or something more representative of the content.
Just for you? Now you know it’s not just news, you can stop watching it and complaining.
The argument if you don't like it don't watch it is nonsense.
Its like having a political party voted in that makes changes to something like the NHS which you don't like. Then someone just tells you "Well don't use it then, get yourself some private health care and stop complaining"

Its a public service anyone should have the right to criticize, question and possibly suggest changes. You may not get them but you still should be able to ask.

It's a moot point anyway, as the word he wants removed isn't in the programme's title to start withThe argument if you don't like it don't watch it is nonsense.

He’s complaining about bbc breakfast not just being news when It’s not just a news programme.
Then he complained about it having news in the title when it didn’t.
He wants to just watch news so I’m saying he shouldn’t watch bbc breakfast, as it’s not just news.

You've got your 'right on' cap on this morning I see, are you wearing your rainbow loon pants today?
Does El stovey wear anything else?Did you just start a thread where you ranted about segregated cycle lanes thinking they were for segregating men and women. Not cyclists and cars.

I have found that by far the best policy is to stop consumption of BBC content altogether, life is a lot better without it.
Ive found lifes better with it (radio 6,radio 4, documentaries etc etc) but just not watching what doesn’t interest me and not constantly worrying about bias and constantly moaning, but each to their own.chrispmartha said:

Almost, but not quite.....BBC 6 Music has some very interesting stuff, a much better listen than R2, R4 etc. I find there are some interesting things on BBC2 & 4, but almost nothing on BBC1. The 'news' is beyond a joke in terms of bias, so I find the only way of getting a balanced, more worldy view of the news, is to watch news on other channels: ITV News at 10 is OK, Al Jazeera, although heavily biased in another direction, at least gives some idea of what others are thinking, as does Arirang TV, NHK & others.
The TV licence model must change though.
