Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely
Discussion
I think he was cutting Shami some slack actually - the interuptions gave her time to make up the rest of whatever it was she was trying to say.
She comes across as probably quite a nice person underneath it all but I don't think she's cut out for front line politics.
A nice safe back room research post would probably suit her.

Likening an award winning political journalist to the mad cat woman from The Simpsons is unbecoming of Neil. He knows it as well as he deleted the tweet.
I'd like her to be given the chance of using the English language in an interview on the BBC about the matter.
I was being a tt when I said "women struggle to under English properly" in regard to her using saying he was a misogynist.I'd like her to be given the chance of using the English language in an interview on the BBC about the matter.
It was firmly tongue in cheek.
She may have won awards, but she often comes across as a rapid fool who has her agenda and always tries to say that anyone who disagrees with her is trying to shut freedom of press speech and that there is some conspiracy theory going on for global domination.
Now to be fair to her, I am sure some of the angles she is reporting on in regards to Russian money etc. is probably right, but what she always fails to realise is there is just as much money coming in to the areas she wants to see from people like Soros.
If, as a reporter, you are going to try and discredit someone, don't act all shocked when they bite back at you.

I think she is "shocked" as the BBC stepped in to defend him despite it being a personal Twitter account and then ran it as a news story without allowing her to reply. It was firmly tongue in cheek.

It seems odd to me.
Neil's Twitter account probably needs a breathalyser login - like my Ebay.

I like Marr but I think he’s being a bit of a dick there (IMHO). It’s obvious that SC is saying “whilst she wanted to Remain the people voted Leave, she’s a democrat and is therefore carrying out the Wishes of the People”. Yes she did come across as a bit patronising but there really wasn’t a need for him to get on his high horse.
Also Shami.......
If that was all she said then I'd totally agree. However she actually said "I don't know about you, but I'm a democrat'. Which pretty much is patronising. Also Shami.......

I like Brillo, he's one of the best interviewers and political chinscratchers on TV, but that tweet is a massive bk-drop, needlessly misogynist.
is it? 'mad cat woman.'?Conclusion? Brillo had been on the sauce and drunktweeted something he shouldn't have.

I listened to a report earlier this afternoon on the BBC radio about the tragic crash of German female F3 driver injuring spectators at the Macau Grand Prix. I've heard it several times since and no more mention of the driver's gender. It's not like the BBC to miss an opportunity to sing the praises of a sportswoman.
The 3 presenters on BBC Breakfast TV this morning must have said "she" about 10 times between them while talking about it. By the way, have you seen the accident? Gee flipping whizz! gizlaroc said:

She is the living incarnation of Viz's Grassy Knollington. I'm not surprised Farage refuses to talk to her, she's mental.

And now it looks like they've started the process for withdrawing the free TV licences for the over 75s, now that they've given our British pensioners money away to fund their massive expansion in foreign language broadcasting to third world countries.
Good, they watch it more than anyone else and why should it be free when if that OAP wanted to watch Sky they would have to pay?https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-46280468...
Someone at the BBC has a sense of humour. Not sure if they needed that commentary but if it was happening at the time then they get bonus points for Jacob Rees Mogg being mentioned just as the cat was let in.

Every BBC news on radio today that I have listened to led with ‘The UK will be poorer economically under any form of Brexit, compared with staying in the EU, new government analysis suggests’ or words to that effect.
Now ever since the referendum was announced we have been feed such stories. Should it still be headline news.

Chancellor comes out and tells us we are all going to be worse off. Yes, this is news. I don't recall any incumbent government advising their policies will make the country poorer. Now ever since the referendum was announced we have been feed such stories. Should it still be headline news.
Not the Beeb's fault the Tories are clowns.
