Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely

Anyone who wants to listen to a nice politically neutral radio play....
...needs to avoid today's Radio 4 offering (Me and Robin Hood, aired at 1415) like the plague.
It was like a party political broadcast for the Labour Party.
And it was a bit st, to boot.
For several years in the nineties I listened to Radio 4 all day, and the afternoon plays consistently decayed towards the frankly 'right-on' end of the spectrum. Once upon a time radio plays were excellent entertainment, not a pseudo-political rant full of faux regional accents and obvious racial diversity merely for the sake of PC....needs to avoid today's Radio 4 offering (Me and Robin Hood, aired at 1415) like the plague.

It's not a left or right bias though, which is why both left and right perceive bias, and Andrew Neil is hardly representative. The hugely significant BBC bias is on a different axis of the political compass, which is what many on this thread are missing when they argue the toss. IMO.

Nothing to see here.
Dropped an email to the BBC on this very subject, however no response, saying that this was a disgrace. I copied im my local MP suggesting that perhaps it was time to remove the licence fee. If lefty liberals wanted to feed the general population propoganda they should pay for it themselves. Nudge politics I think it is called.
One nudge and nothing much happens. 1000 nudges and things change.
Cheers,
Tony

They did a cracking piece the other day about the casualties of D-day, giving us the full story of the bravery and heroism of both of the women that died that day, with an added comment that 21,998 blokes also died.
If we're going for whataboutery, do it properly; what about all the French, Germans, Poles, Ukrainians and other random draftees the Nazis installed to defend the Atlantic 'wall', etc?1602Mark said:

And I've seen endless (brilliant) stuff on D-fay this week with no mention of women. Is there a problem? Fast and Spurious said:
