After a modestly promising start it would appear that Macri has gone full retard. Disappointing.
Macri's ministers pledge not a single day rest in the fight for Malvinas sovereignty.
Malvinas remain “inexorably Argentine” says Macri on invasion anniversary

US has to use its own F16s to protect Airforce One as Argentina has nothing available: https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/us-send-f-16s-arge...

We should have offered our friend and ally, the Americans use of Port Stanley Airfield, all in the interests of engendering good international relations you understand.Puggit said:

I am not one for military worship, but those f-16s in the pic are wonderfully designed, so sleek.I'm still waiting for Firefox to be made.

Maybe it is time to scale back our military assets there? They seem to have no viable military assets to launch an attack.
They don't need military assets. An invasion force can be launched with civilian vessels/aircraft.
The Uk keeps the bare minimum necessary on station which is also beneficial to the local economy.

Perhaps now's a good time to launch an invasion force. Leaving the EU & so expand The Empire. Could be good business. We could sell their beef back to them.
Interestingly, I was out with an Argentinian recently, apparently all the domestic beef they sell now is crap, the good stuff is worth so much more to export sources that almost nothing worth eating stays in country...according to him.mikal83 said:

Even that appears to be wrong. Most of their beef, full stop, is crap. There was an enlightening John Torode programme on the Beeb where he visited the place and covered this. The fabled Argintinian pasture grazed beef is actually now extremely rare. The weirdest thing I found in BA when I was there was the huge turds that lined a lot of the pedestrian footpaths, it was grim.

Argentina is a strange place, I lived there for 6 months earlier this year.
BA is indeed filled with dog crap. The Argentine love of dogs, especially in the city, is something which takes some getting used to. But it's a great place to live.
Not sure about the beef issue.... I tasted some very mediocre cuts and also the finest steaks I've ever eaten. The trick is to find the local unknown eating spots who will serve you perfectly parilla'd slabs of beef. Also whilst staying on an estancia I tasted some amazing cow.
The Malvinas issue is a weird one. All of my BA friends think it's nonsense and used as a smokescreen from domestic problems. But the friends I met in far southern Patagonia... Jeez. There is absolutely no way that Top Gear didn't know about what a rumpus they would cause... Unless their researchers were actually blind and dumb.
