Just had an SMS from a relly who works at Papworth, the word is that it doesn't look good, serious cardiac problems frown

Let's all hope that the old boy will be OK.

frown Hope the old fella will be Ok. I like the chap. He's like the uncle of grandad you can't take out in public. Great fun.

So much for confidentiality. Yet again, the Great British Public ditches awkward principles in the rush for the latest gossip.

Are you serious?
Has this person never heard of confidentiality?

Good grief. Do you really think it's acceptable for someone working in a hospital to be texting details of a patient's condition about regardless of who he is? It's well out of order, and thoroughly unprofessional.

So why did your 'relly' breach patient confidentiality if everyone knew?
And why did you bother to post it?
Get a life and stop trying to make yourself look important and/or interesting when clearly you are neither.

Speculation over his condition is no longer a secret (state or otherwise) simply because scumbags like you and your relative have no respect for the bloke's privacy. And, yet, you then posted this:

if it were precautionary 'tests' he'd have either stayed put at Sandringham or gone to King's Lynn ...

my immediate thought on hearing that he'd gone to Papworth was that he was going for an Primary PCI Angioplasty

as for the relative of the PHer who texted that out - that's potentially a sacking offence , ask those who been disciplined for leaking stuff about Huntley after his various parasuicides
or the people at the LGI looking at Hamster's scans when they weren't involved in care

Hope he pulls through. 400 engagements a year at the age of 90, when most of us are either pushing up daisies or crapping our pants and talking to furniture is something I deeply respect him for.
Get well soon, Phil.

True...

I wonder if the posters 'relly' shares the same surname as he does... we know how good the PH bloodhounds are at scouting out personal details whistle

Presumably the 'relly' didn't much like the job, and he's done him/her a favour by publicising their action on "t'internet".

I hope all is well and wish him a full recovery, it will be a shame to loose such a character in this dolled up, media-made PC world of sterility and news sense

If that's true your "relly" should be hounded down and fired . Fkin gossiping chavscum shouldn't be allowed near decent people. Utter filth.
