French police fine woman for driving while wearing burqa
Discussion
I wouldnt necessarily assume that because the news report has used Burka, it is the same as what is shown in the picture, the term Burka is often used interchangabley with many of those items. I would say the hijab is more common and is fine for driving.
Although having read the report sounds liek it was an actual Burka.
Is it only the Burkha that is banned there or all of them styles of clothing?

True, it isn't quite so clear in the article. It says "full face covering veil" and refers to it as a burqa, but then says "looking through the narrow slit in the fabric..." so I'm not sure what she was actually wearing. Although having read the report sounds liek it was an actual Burka.

Either way if they deemed it to be effecting her vision and thus her driving, I'm all for it.
Can't say I'm immature enough to make fun of everyone who wants to wear a veil though. Although, when Neil in the Inbetweeners said "All I need is the eyes" in reference to his memory w**k bank, I did have a chuckle and cross-referenced it to men who maybe oppress their wives and enforce the Niqab.
IMO the Burqa is OTT, the Niqab is highly questionable but the other variants arn't even worth noticing.
