Does anyone else here (Derek) want to know more about why george Osborne in particular was such a strong supporter of the ambitions of Andy Coulson and News International in general?

I have heard suggestions that a certain media organisation may own, but has never published, photographs which might show a certain former Bullingdon Club member in the presence of a self-employed lady and some South American plant extract.

Osborne has to go in front of Leveson sooner or later doesn't he?

He's also a man of wealth and taste.

I'm still puzzled as to the nature of his game, though.
Would you be Pleased to Meet Him I wonder?

So, to get back up to date...

Yesterday on Radio 4 they lead with Gordon Brown's version of events vs what Rebecca Wade had said in previous 'under oath' testimony. 1 - 0 to El Gordo.

Today, on the Today prog (still Radio 4) they pour scorn on Gordon Brown's own evidence regarding his use of the media to try and oust Blair. He refused to acknowledge any memory of such behaviour.

So was yesterday's story not also tainted by the fact that it came from the mouth of G. Brown?

I'm confused.
