Not suspicious.

Accident or suicide?

Very sad.

Bloody hell, that's just up the road.

Strange and sad.

Just seen this. Not good news, only playing last night too. BBC Wales did not mention the car link.

RIP.

Doesnt look good based on being seen driving erratically and made off on foot after being stopped by Plod.

I expect he's not 'celeb' enough for the press to stick with it, which is probably the best thing for his friends and family.

I guess. But it's one of those really unexplained events that you keep wondering about.

Reads as if he was drink (or drug I suppose)-driving and ran off rather than speak to the police.

my early complete guess is was;

drink driving
police stopped him
he ran away , they gave chase
jumped fence and ran over live tracks, zap
train ran over his dead body

sad for someone to die young but he has himself to blame if the events above are correct

Put his foot on the live rail, or slipped pissed.
No driving licence is worth this.

He'd been out on the pop after the match he was in earlier in the day.

Couldn't he afford a taxi, a train ticket or a night in a Travelodge?

Well, it seems that Tom Maynard was on cocaine and ecstasy and four times the drink-drive limit when he ran off from his car and was electrocuted on train tracks.

Sounds like the prick did the world a favour by frying himself.

I'm not going to mourn someone who was prepared to go driving when he was four times the limit and on cocaine and ecstasy. Write to Points of View if you're so bothered.

I'm not sure it's televised any more.

Edit: just noticed it is. Well there you go.

I think he meant Website Feedback.
