That is a very odd response. We are, after all, talking about the "oldest profession".
I would suggest that most of us do not use prostitutes.
The fact that you think that this is unusual suggests that your home life might be less than ideal.
It is indeed, but you still think seeing one is perverted.I would suggest that most of us do not use prostitutes.

I thought society had largely moved beyond that but I guess not everyone.

Is being gay/bi a "perversion"?
I'm not a handwringer but that's quite a statement in this day and age, and says more about the speaker than the subject.
It's not about sexuality. It's about the sordid nature of his private life, the perverted use of public money in providing a venue for his extremely unhealthy practises and stupid exposure to criminal coercion, the many instances of corruption and perversion of his exalted position, the unsuitability of him being in a position of influence over others and the maze of lies. Those things are all perversions to most people, however widespread their practice may be. HTHI'm not a handwringer but that's quite a statement in this day and age, and says more about the speaker than the subject.

I was going to vent my spleen at my local Conservative MP, but it seems that he didn't vote.
The whole affair is mystifying.
I have sent mine off already. My MP did vote, I would like to know why, but considering she lost her post as culture secretary for fiddling expenses, I am not expecting much. The whole affair is mystifying.

Roleplaying a washing machine repairman is pretty pervertedEdited to add: reminds me of a great Grolsch advert from a few years back.

What not voting? The whole affair is mystifying.
Or that your MP appears to be condoning what many others would see as unacceptable behavior for someone in public office, and who is currently under investigation by the Police, and could possibly face an inquiry by the parliamentary standards commissioner?
I'd ask him why he didn't vote in favour for Vaz, he's clearly a suitable candidate to serve on the JUSTICE committee!
Beggars belief.

I find it mystifying that Conservative members would support Vaz.
I find it even more mystifying that the Conservatives would use the whips.
