What's also interesting is the lack of interest by things like the Daily Politics etc. It's almost as if it didn't happen.
They're all sh*t scared of saying anything that might put them on the wrong end of potential Vaz legal action.
They are probably scared of being labelled homophobes and getting a backlash, despite the sex of where the married man was putting his dick into prostitutes having nothing to do with why this is a sordid affair. Indeed; it's the bit where he's a lying liar, an abuser of parliamentary and governmental influence and a crook that's the problem. What he likes to do in private with consenting adults is his own concern.hidetheelephants said:

What an appalling inditement of all that is wrong with Parliament, that Labour actually put up Vazeline for appointment to the Justice committee !!! and then Tories vote for him!! Its no wonder that the average person has so little respect for these cocksuckers!!!!
What Vaz gets up to in private is of concern if the bloke is invovled in the creation of laws about such activity and he doesn't declare it.
Today the Govt. has been slated for their proposals to clean up the air we breathe. In the discussion on Radio 4's PM they cited car makers as saying 'Don't worry about nasty diesel fumes being bad for your health we can fix that' and then promptly didn't, I guess citing the VAG emissions test defeat software.
The analogy is that laws, legislation can be created by those that have a vested interest.
Didn't Vaz visit Romania on a fact finding mission about modern slavery and human trafficking? So later he's in the UK using Romanian rent boys and reportedly saying 'That's a lot of money where they come from'?
Vaz's sexual activities could be deemed as none of our business, but it's been reported that his diabetes charity donated to Bercow's election campaign.
How long ago were we enthralled by Camilla Batmangelidjh and her Kids Company 'charity' with comments about the expected conduct of Trustees of Charities?
Bercow was umpiring wasn't he when Andrew Bridgen was making his point about Vaz's suitability for the Justice Committee. So Bercow whose election campaign took a donation from Vaz's diabetes charity is wholly impartial and not compromised at all?

Politicians are sinking to a new low in the eyes of the public.
They couldn't get any lower!!!Andrew Neal was clearly shocked by the answers.
Worth catching on iPlayer.
Two possible explanations occur for what is on the face of it indefensible behaviour;
1) The obvious one; the tories are married to the idea of parliamentary procedure and custom and practise, and have would have voted through the nominated labour candidate even if they'd nominated Peter Sutcliffe.
2) Tinfoil option; the tories have knowledge that further Vaz dirt is going to be revealed in the press and therefore want him to be back on a committee so they can be disgusted and agitate for him to resign again when the papers publish details of the new dirty laundry, and hopefully precipitate further labour ructions.
