A combination of can-down-the-road a-long-way, wait for apathy to come to rescue, and I've got more on you than you have on me and mine's in the public domain whereas yours isn't.

It's a joke that just six weeks after he was too ill to be investigated, he's miraculously back to a full and hectic MP's schedule.

There's a distinct pattern of people playing the "health" card in these investigations. I seem to remember one of the key people in the Stafford Hospital investigation doing similar and then, shortly after dodging the bullet, appearing in a new job (shifted sideways, not sacked, in that tradition of public sector HR) in Shropshire NHS.
The Ernest Saunders defense.....
No, that was an actual miracle. rolleyes

What is puzzling is how is he voted in as an MP for Leicester East time and time again. What is the competition like if he is getting voted in?

Hard to believe you’ve said that. It’s pretty obvious why he gets in again and again.

With an increased majority every time. I think he got close to 70% of the vote last year...

Great news this.

Bridgen must be the only one in the Palace of Westminster that slimey st hasn;t got anything on.

I still think it'll come to nothing though. The guy is like ice coated in molyslip.

It may come as a shock to you but his wife works too.

She is a former lawyer/barrister and currently a part time Judge.
