IMHO very much related (see story in second linked piece) the police yesterday arrested 743 people, 652 men and 91 women, in connection with their targeting the Country Lines criminal and drug dealing gangs. Incredible work and coordination between forces: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50085470

Link to abuse cases: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50045739

743 is a staggering number. It shows just how rife the whole criminal network is.
Not sure how linked it all is. But, probably fortunately, I think we live in a bubble where we are not exposed to all this st.

Netflix’s series of Top Boy was a great watch.

Absolutely, we live in a world where our kids think it's a great idea to go backpacking around some sh*thole like Morocco, because they think the whole world is fluffy bunnies and unicorns, and then when said kids get beheaded in the name of an ancient sky fairy, the media does NOTHING to expose the dangers.

It's like that young lad who was on TV last year, he's gone backpacking around Peru and south America on his own, he's basically not coming back, he committed suicide the second he got on the plane. We'll never hear anything about him again........ Poor lad, someone should have fed him a red pill before it was too late.

If you haven't yet done so watch the originals from C4.

I think Netflix has them both.

Superb and eye opening.

As I've said before, I know plenty about how all this works, as young lad I know well went through the hell of them trying (unsuccessfully) to recruit him.

If you read the second article, it specifically links the two; the drugs gangs with the targeting and rape of young girls. There is a definite overlap.

Also, just think about it. You and I would not deal drugs any more than we'd abuse vulnerable people, but the sort of people who don't give a toss about one, are in no way guaranteed to have higher morals in regard to the other.

Agreed. They quite literally turn people's lives and homes inside out. They are, to a man and woman, parasites. Reading the BBC report, it seems the police are making a concerted and very well focused effort to crack these networks. 700 odd arrests is significant.

I sort of knew this was coming, both from the conversations the young lad I know had with the police (who were excellent and, even a few years back, were latched onto this target, albeit in the early stages) and also from a very good friend in the police. I'd say the arrests are the product of years of investigation and that, very likely, more will follow.

Disgraceful when the authorities enable or allow any group to operate as though they are outside of the law, and abuse vulnerable individuals.

I think its because a long rope will give a drop long enough to snap the criminal's neck instantly, a shorter one leaves them wriggling till they suffocate

Where’s the religious link? What’s the reason for atheists sexually abusing children?
Are atheists denied sex?

Long rope would break neck.

Short rope would precipitate much slower strangulation.

I’m guessing.

Banaris Hussain, 36.Umar Zaman, 31, and Samuel Fikru, 32, of William Street, Huddersfield, were each jailed for eight years after they were convicted of two counts of rape.

Another 32-year-old found guilty of a single count of rape was jailed for eight years.

A 38-year-old man found guilty of attempted rape was jailed ,and two 32 year olds were also found guilty of rape, but their
names cant be disclosed for legal reasons.

So can any legal eagles on here describe a possible scenario of why they cant be named?

I'm not a legal eagle but I thought that kind of thing can happen where family members are amongst the victims as it essentially makes their ordeal public, or where there may be further charges to come in ongoing cases.

See the trouble Tommy Robinson got into around influencing trials by naming people.

Well the names above are from the West Yorkshire police website. https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/news-appeals/s...

Also have a look at the statistics for sex offences in West Yorkshire. Alarming to say the least.
