Well the names above are from the West Yorkshire police website. https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/news-appeals/s...

Also have a look at the statistics for sex offences in West Yorkshire. Alarming to say the least.
https://www.police.uk/west-yorkshire/KDT_HUD/crime...
I'm assuming (and hoping) that the vast majority of the sex offences included in those stats are historical ones turned up by the ongoing investigations.

...just guessing.

What's more concerning are the numbers of serving police that have been netted in these investigations over the years. It shows just how badly wrong the whole system got this - how far under the general radar these victims were.

I am guessing, if convicted for these sexual assaults, an ex-police officer is really not going to have a good time inside though.

They can ask to be kept separate from other prisoners for their own safety. There is some rule that allows for this for ex-coppers as well as paedophiles, who are not viewed kindly by other prisoners.

However if for some reason others are allowed access to such prisoners (i.e. if a mistake is made) then they don't usually hold back.

And British Muslims don’t feel safe on our streets !!

The unfair racists system keeps locking them up.

A Muslim in jail for grooming offences is not going to find himself with no friends, whether police or not. He will be one of the “boys”

See the trouble Tommy Robinson got into around influencing trials by naming people.

It wasn't for naming them, as their names had already been published, he got into trouble as was trialed for causing them undue stress (or something like that).

It was for breaching the reporting restrictions in place - contempt of court.

Quite. There are various reasons why reporting restrictions may be required, not least because without them, the hard work done by the authorities and CPS might all go to waste if the trial could be deemed to have been influenced or compromised by media exposure.

Are we talking about the first time? or the one after he pissed of a lot of powerful people by exposing BBC panorama? this was about the stress caused to the men he named, but the media was reporting it as contempt. You can't break reporting restrictions if the names of the suspects are already in the public domain. You'd have to risk going to his website to find the information, as he's practically been wiped from the internet.

I'd hope and expect that the court which convicted him has a bit more information and access to all of the evidence than some people on an Internet who probably get a lot of it from people sympathetic to Tommy.

I know the BBC are meant to be terribly biased but I don't think they put him in jail because he pissed off Panorama.

Within two weeks of that, he was wiped off every social media platform and dragged into court for another trial, more recently they had trials to ban him from football matches, even though he's never caused trouble. The process of going through all this is how they are punishing him, hundreds of thousands in court costs etc etc etc.

Basically don't f**K with the state propaganda machine.
