Thank you for saving me from typingHidious vile creature, along with his wife.
Watched the Sophy Ridge interview this morning.
I voted to Leave. I never voted for him. I've never voted Labour. The Iraq war grates a lot with how I perceive him. As does his allowance of mass EU migration under his governance.
BUT
As is sensible, its always good to hear the counter argument to your own views. Something to be fair he said himself during the interview.
But unlike that fkwit Corby, he is capable of putting across his view in a way that's, if not something I agree with, at least a decent point of view. Clearly we differ on whether the UK requires the amount of low skilled, low IQ economic migrants that are currently arriving. We differ on the future economic status of the UK and we probably differ on whether the EU will be relevant in the next 10 years.
Though I believe he is correct regarding the state of politics in the UK. We have hard left Corby who thinks its the 70s and May who is more to the right of centre and (paraphrasing) thinks it's another earlier time in the UKs history. He's right that we have 2 positions that ignore the majority in the centre. (Cameron won a majority from a centre right position.)
I'm sure it's an exaggeration that the EU would allow a concession on immigration to keep the UK in the bloc. But he's sort of right to at least float the idea and use his influence to see if there IS an appetite for that. Though we'd need to halve our contributions as well and make a couple of other changes if you wanted to win another referendum. Personally if a more satisfactory deal could be worked out, I'd vote Remain (If they'd offered a better deal in Feb 16 to Cameron, who knows where we'd be right now!)
He reminded me of the Good Friday agreement, where the 3rd way was actually, if not perfect, a far more palatable way of doing things. And I give him credit for acknowledging the work Thatcher and Major did towards the GFA. He also said the word "Conservatives" which Corby simply can't because he's all about that idiotic phrase "evil Tories" And trying to divide the nation into those for him or against him.
He made a valid point about May and the circling sharks I thought. Even though Gordo McWinky always blatantly wanted the top job, Blairs cabinet was far more settled than we've had over the last 2 years or so.
I never thought I'd say it, but Blair, is still eminently more electable than either of the 2 party leaders currently!

Tony Blair: 'absolutely necessary' Brexit doesn't happen – video
Perhaps my memory is failing me, but wasn't this the same man that suggested it was 'absolutely necessary' that we go to war in Iraq?
Taking his word, worked out well that time too as I recall.
I'm not interested in the pro/anti brexit argument at all here - there is a thread for that.
I had, many years ago, reached the conclusion that the man is incapable of acting for anyone's interests but his own. The only logical conclusion therefore, based upon that logic, is that brexit must be absolutely necessary.
He really should just shut up now.
For an intelligent man, it's incredible that he can't see Brexit happened because of people of his ilk.Perhaps my memory is failing me, but wasn't this the same man that suggested it was 'absolutely necessary' that we go to war in Iraq?

He's in denial, with his head so deep in the sand his arse must be shrivelling in the sun.

Then you're a fool.Give me strength.
June Sarapong gets lambasted by Michelle Dewsbury after claiming Tony the cocksucker is the man who can sort out Brexit.
