Websites saying he's tried to cut his wrists and is being treated for the injuries, BBC news on TV saying its undisclosed injuries, the first breaking news report said he fell out of bed (?!?)

And lo it came to pass:

Jailed South African Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has received treatment in hospital for wrist injuries.

A prison service spokesman said the injuries were "minor" and that he had been returned to prison after Saturday's incident.

Pistorius denied he had tried to kill himself, the spokesman said.

Fifteen less time served. That's still probably not enough, really, but it's no longer an affront.

Yep, there was a guy on the radio this morning who said it should have been at least 15 years from the fist instance as that is the minimum tariff for a first offence of murder in SA.
