Hundreds turn out for funeral of Royal Marine after FB plea
Discussion
I'm I the only prepared to suggest their is something a bit weird in hundreds of people turning up for a strangers funeral, especially MAG types in patched denim on really bad motocycles?
Who exactly did they do this for? Why is the lonely death of a Marine any more worthy mourning than the death of a lonely window cleaner?
I don't wish to be contrary but I think the whole sentiment trite, odd and very insincere.

I guess you've never pulled on a set of combats and fought alongside men who'd die for you. Who exactly did they do this for? Why is the lonely death of a Marine any more worthy mourning than the death of a lonely window cleaner?
