It is most definitely not a criminal charge.
As per the COP judges, is it 'in all but name'.

dasigty said:
thats why the distinction must be made between Criminal & Civil contempt (The correct wording), they are two completely different offences, covered by completely different legislation, with two completely different outcomes for the accused, as has been outlined with regards to him being able to communicate with the outside world.
The relevant distinctions that have been made around how a prisoner is classified and treated is regular criminal offences vs contempt, not 'criminal vs civil contempt'.

If you read the judgement that's clear.

dasigty said:
How strange that of the multitude of "Errors" made, every single one was to the disadvantage of the accused.
It's not really that strange. It's merely coincidental.

It's was quite the advantage for the appeal. How strange...
Your a chimpanzee in all but name using that logic. Do yourself a favour and look it up, they are defined in law for a reason, nor does you trying to swerve into the 1999 prison act to cloud the issue help your case.

Merely coincidental ?, the judgement ripped the court in general and the judge in particular a complete new arseh*le, no appeal would have been required had the law been adhered to.

I've been following TR's story and this video, one I'd not seen before popped up as a suggested watch in the right hand menu on YT:

https://youtu.be/ez_RfNhG0ps

Real interview starts around 2 minutes in with TR interviewing Lord Pearson. I do not watch the goings on in the Commons or the Lords so this was somewhat of an eye opener and I'd be interested in what the PH massive think of it.

Islamophobe interviews Islamaphobe to make comforting video for other Islamophobes?

What logic do you object to? You're not very good at specifics. Keeping it vague and generalised is an obvious way to try and mask how much you're blagging. That along with ignoring the parts when you've been corrected by various posters allows you to keep digging.

It's not 'swerving' into legislation when it's legislation cited in the appeal judgement to form a conclusion that I reflected on here. It's not 'clouding', it's clarity. For some reason you've got yourself in a muddle over contempt, even though the distinctions you're focusing on aren't relevant to the cause of the effect of him being miscategorised.

Yes, the judge made several procedural errors which resulted in a successful appeal.

He’ll be in meltdown when he sees the way the BBC have listed candidates for the North West, look towards the end of the list

You have done nothing but blag, its glaringly obvious you have neither read or understood the summary judgement, or are unable to preform a simple google search that would enlighten you as to how and why there is both a civil and criminal contempt and the differences.

If he broke the law then he should be dealt with in the same manner as anyone else would committing that offence, that did not happen.

How are the differences relevant here? Talk us through it and how it relates to this judgement.

Yes he should. Hence the re-trial.

roman,

I would like to think there's a difference between being against Islam and the radicals within that religion.

What do you think?

There is a difference. However if TR ever made that distinction when he’s preaching to the EDL-types he’d lose 90% of his fanbase and 90% of his income.

He's primarily a thug at heart.
He likes being involved in aggro.
He enjoys public adulation.
He's twigged that he can do all of the above AND make money by going "Oooooooh....MUSLIMS!!!"

He might not be racist but he's rated Number 1 by racists.

That's how the ballot paper looks, it doesn't even list him as independent, he is just listed under "Tommy Robinson" as in party name. But still at the bottom.

Are you even allowed to be elected under a pseudonym? Or has he actually changed his name by deed poll?

Nomination form requires your real name, but you can be listed as the name you're commonly known by. https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/__data/asse...

Did David Sutch appear as Screaming Lord Sutch for the OMRLP? Oh how we need him now to bring some sanity back to UK politics!

Hi Countdown,

He has made the distinction, many times and publicly. You would hear that for yourself if you've watch his many recent video's.

You do know he left the EDL and why?
