Well that’s a rather strong opinion and at least we know where you stand now.

I was going to ask you to expand on some of your other points but there’s probably no need given that particular gem.

There is more evidence of dangerous factions within Islam than there ever was within Judaism. However - the obsessive focus, the divisive rhetoric, the othering of minorities, the willingness to lie -it’s all old school far right nationalism. It’s straight out of the Goebbels playbook. I worry. The country is a fking mess over Brexit, there’s an effective power vacuum, the two main parties are ineffectual and insane respectively and far right populists are making hay. And useful idiots are supporting them. You read history and think it’s the past, and then this st happens. Meanwhile Trump is trying to start a new cold war with China and Putin is busy spreading discord.

I grew up under the shadow of the mushroom cloud, and in my lifetime it looked as if sanity had been achieved, but it’s increasingly looking like the nutters are reasserting control.

Not much of a thesis. I initially described it as an impression.
And again, you pick up on one bit and avoid the real challenge in my comment.

What exactly is your point then? You just seem to be telling me that I am a secret Tommy Robinson fan when I have asked a few relatively neutral questions and stated my impressions of Robinson and his cause.

Is it a binary 'with us or against us' issue to you?

This is where you wouldn’t address the question, pick out a minor irrelevance, such as “neutral” and home in on that. However, I’ll do you the courtesy of answering.

My point is that you are shying way from saying what you really believe. Whether you think that makes you clever, or somehow superior to the rest isn’t clear. I don’t see sides necessarily, other than common decency.

For example, I find racism abhorrent. I find it abhorrent when some hide behind comments like “it’s a religion, not a race”, or try to bundle billions of people together based on the actions of a few idiots.

Equally and to address the MDL aspect. They’re a bunch of thugs looking for a fight and little else. I have no sympathy for them.

I have no sympathy for the idiotic parents who took those children to the rally if indeed they did actually go. They should have their children taken away from them.

There is no “them and us” other than the “them” being the racist thugs supporting Tommy and the idiotic thugs on the other side of the same coin. The “us” are the billions of decent people out there who live normal lives in cultured societies around the world. Some of those cultures may be alien to us, but they are still cultured. Oh and if anyone suggests they’re backwards, I’d suggest looking at Alabama and their recent statute in the country held to be the pinnacle of the Free World.

That’s how you answer a question, by being clear and not trying to deliberately obfuscate and deflect.

Plenty of sympathy for the kids, they don’t deserve to get caught up in that.

Parents though are idiots.

As are those from the other side of the fence who also think it’s a good idea to attend rallies where history dictates a flashpoint of some sort is highly likely.

Explain why. No way should children be placed in that position by idiotic parents

people should be free to roam this land without fear of violence, and take their children with them.

I think they should be allowed to go to a politcal rally with their parents. Their parents choice. Their parents can listen to what is said and make up their own mind and vote how they wish. We live in a democracy

As we understand; they were all carrying on without a problem or violence. If there was then there were plenty of people who would've reported it since Robinson and his crew are probably the most watched group in the country by people hoping they will step out of line.

The interuption from the counter protesters occured later. I don't think parents/children/police/robinson whoever should have bricks thrown at them.

I certainly dont think that because a group threw bricks at them you should get the state to remove the children from the parents.

The fact that you do is, quite frankly, astonishing.

Yes, they should be able to take children with them, but given the repeated incidents of violence which seems to surround Robinson, common sense would suggest it might not be the wisest course of action.

I'd have thought it would make sense for TR to use SIA registered security too, not a mix of Polish neo-nazis and British convicted thugs. They'd probably do a better job protecting him too.

Impressively trite words there.

Assume you would say the same for the residents of the various neighbourhoods visited by Tommy and the EDL boys in days of yore ?

We all know him and his hooligan mates love a proper tear up. Why anybody of any political persuasion would want to take their kids within several hundred yards of this renowned aggro magnet baffles me.

Still it makes good footage for Tommy TV and the Russians as we have seen.

Yes, that too,I have said many times tommy is a thug, and his goons over react.

That does not change the fact that people shouod be free to go where they please without fear of violence,no matter who it is from.
