Yes, they should be able to take children with them, but given the repeated incidents of violence which seems to surround Robinson, common sense would suggest it might not be the wisest course of action.

I'd have thought it would make sense for TR to use SIA registered security too, not a mix of Polish neo-nazis and British convicted thugs. They'd probably do a better job protecting him too.
Catch the bricks perhaps?
Compare the reaction of Farage's security team to Robinson's when they both had milkshakes thrown over them:-
Farage's team - move him away, grab hold of the thrower, restrain until police arrive.
Robinson's team - pile in on the attacker with Tommy, throwing punches, then eventually pull Robinson off.

There is a video of Ed Milliband getting egged a few years ago.
He just took his jacket off and carried on with his interview.

I think they should be allowed to go to a politcal rally with their parents. Their parents choice. Their parents can listen to what is said and make up their own mind and vote how they wish. We live in a democracy

As we understand; they were all carrying on without a problem or violence. If there was then there were plenty of people who would've reported it since Robinson and his crew are probably the most watched group in the country by people hoping they will step out of line.

The interuption from the counter protesters occured later. I don't think parents/children/police/robinson whoever should have bricks thrown at them.

I certainly dont think that because a group threw bricks at them you should get the state to remove the children from the parents.

The fact that you do is, quite frankly, astonishing.
Nice platitudes that mean nothing. Years ago as a kid in the 70s I should’ve been able to go to a football match with my Dad. He decided it was wiser not to risk it.

Would I take my children shopping in Stratford on the day of a West Ham / Millwall derby? Not a chance. Yes I should be able to, but it’d be pretty stupid to expect it to be all unicorns and flowers.

Now look at what a Tommy rally is really like and what it attracts and tell me that it’s a sensible course of action for people with young children. It’s almost as if they were there for a photo opportunity and collateral damage

Now you're inferring parents took their children to the rally because they knew they would be put in harms way for political gain! Hasn't Robinson held many rallies across the northwest without incident? if there had been repeated trouble, to the level of chucking bricks, rather than the expected noisey counter protest, we would know. In fact many posters on this thread would post the links.

The fact that you would'nt do something doesn't mean others should not . You are calling for the state to take away their children if they do not obey! A point you haven't redacted

Seriously, step away form the keyboard, collect your thoughts and perhaps have a word with yourself. Think carefully about what you're typing.

Then look up the word fascist. hehe

Unless you're a troll.

Not a troll, I simply have a view that differs from yours.

There is no implication. I’m being explicit. If people deliberately put their children in harms way then they shouldn’t be allowed to remain in charge of them. Did they do that? I don’t know for definite, but it’s certainly possible. If that triggers you then maybe you should get a thicker skin.

That's great! It's a bit like the video version of this thread. Not very pleasant these liberal types, always seem shouty, school teacher as well!

If you're going to suggest people on this thread are at the same level as the ones Tommy has chosen to show on the video (who I agree come across as pretty stupid who he easily takes apart), you may want to raise your own posting standards:

To be fair to you, you do balance things out and have a role to play. You're the other side of the coin to the people on the video.

I praise your good work biggrin

Is it an established fact he's a school teacher? Not from that video it's not. It's Tommy saying it. That doesn't mean it's true.

It's ironic to imply people on here on the thread are like the protesters, yet in the same sentence demonstrate a lack of basic critical thinking skills.

I had the alter ego of Verbal Kint (careful, don’t make the obvious Freudian slip there ! ) in mind give your “and like that, poof, he was gone” last night,

If we played out a PH version of the Usual Suspectts the ending would no doubt see your original username being slowly revealed on the fax machine for the audience to gasp at and mentally exclaim “of course !” as the pieces all fit together smile

Er, in front of the tyre you say? And then he carefully lobbed it into the road, rather than simply standing it on the kerb.
