Either way, Scotland comes out of this terribly. Wiggly - I can't imagine your frustration in watching a lemming-like exodus off a very large cliff. That the polls show a close call between yes and no must be so frustrating.
I love scotland it is a brilliant place to live and i have a great job earning good money without having to live in that sthole that is the southeast of england which lets be honest is an unfriendly overcrowded expensive toilet.

I used to think the people were kind, wise and decent folk.

But i now now starting to see that people like fluff. blackviper and the arse PCV might be the majority

In which case where the fk can i go to?

I'm not frightened of moving away from the UK as small countries like New Zealand can get on just great with a similar population while having no oil and being the middle of nowhere. Scotland should thrive with what we have and where we are.

What scares the st out of me.

The YES brigade and their racism and ignorance and burning burning envy.

When it all goes tits up which it will with those wkers in charge then they will fur on the oil industry and destroy it.

There is already mutterings within the class warriors that we should nationalise the power companies by force and i think the oil industry will be next.

Looking at those that bang the YES drum i don't think we will be New Zealand i think we will be nigeria which should be a global superpower with what they have. but it isn't its a backward tinpot sthole.

So YES voters if you to regain my support then please please please prove you and your leaders aren't morons

We're not going to be able to send illegal immigrants back to Scotland over fears their human rights may be violated!

Question will Scotland set up a pension protection scheme like the UK has and will that be in operation from day 1?

If all the companies re age on their final salary and offer money purchase to avoid fully finding the £80billion deficit how much will Scottish pensioners or future pensioners lose out? Clearly rUKs oil within those funds would remain in the final salary set up.
The pension protection fund was set up by the financial services industry rather than the UK government, and it's funded by a levy applied within the FS industry.

What? And you claim to work in the financial services industry?

The PPF is a statutory corporation created by the Pensions Act 2004. In other words set up by The UK Government and owned by the UK Government.

Ajd - you are an utter bell end.

You're trying to incite hatred where none exists. How dare you compare Nazi persecution of Jews to your fabricated hatred of England by Scots?

Please explain the "fact that pcv and burger think their 'race' of scots is fairer, purer and more morally upstanding than other lesser 'races', like those evil tory englanders".

What the fk are you talking about?

They would only be as inaccurate as this junk he's just posted. Simple easily verifiable facts and he still gets it wrong.

So you think all outcomes of parliamentary acts were instigated by and are owned by the UK Government?

The FS industry lobbied for, designed and created the PPF. It has legal statute (pressed for by the FS industry) and it works well.

All that aside, I see no reason for a similar system in place for Scottish based occupational pension schemes.

Amusing edit - "more" to "no"!

Do you understand what a statutory corporation is? It is one created under an Act and owned by the Government.

The 'industry' may have wanted it but it didn't create it and it doesn't own it, created and owned by the UK Government.

So the PPFund which exists now come the split how much goes to Scotland? If zero what happens if a big fund collapses shortly after Indy how can the govt afford to pickup the tab for costs which could dwarf the defence and education budgets.

Why is no one discussing this from the SNP? The No campaign have kept asking about the pensions question but SNP just oddly skip around it stating it will be no different to now (so really on that part at lest no point in voting yes as its a like for like policy)

Well there's no reason for such a fund in Scotland he tells us

As that pair of clowns are always going on about how scotland is morally superior

Which is by any definition you want racist

Can't you see that?

When the failed bus driver bangs on about racism being significantly less in scotland it is to say that scotland is better then england

Can you not see this?

and when

One of your fellow YES campaigners says

Are you not even the slightest bit ashamed that idiots like this exist in Scotland

I am

Ah, 'burger. Glad you are back.

Care to answer this?

You admit that no-one (other than presumably the inner circle at the SNP) knows what the Plan B on currency (and I suppose, by extension, on EU, etc.) is and yet you are still thinking of voting yes. Why?

Then how can you, as an educated person (and, even more incredibly, working in the financial services industry), seriously consider voting yes?

It is akin to being told your parachute definitely doesn't work by numerous people and still jumping out of the plane because a mate says he's sure he'll think of something on the way down.

Indeed.

It is the obvious question. Yet no-one in the Yes camp will address it.

The rUK will NOT allow its politicians to concede to Salmond's bullying over currency. There will be NO currency union.

So Scotland would have to independently peg its currency. A Scottish central bank will have to hold vast GBP reserves to keep control - How much reserves ? What are the numbers on this - has the SNP done its sums?

Please show your workings. smile
