Blair's cronies got mentioned in operation ore but old Tone stuck 150 year secrecy orders on it.
If you've got any evidence, take it to The Daily Mail, it'll be worth a fortune and they'd never let it lie. Otherwise what you're saying verges on libel.

I don't see the party any particular offender being a problem. They are all have their fair share of those in the gutter so the other party will not make too many waves. The UKIP is unlikely to be much of a problem.

On top of that, the newspapers in those days were part of the establishment, and in a big way and it is likely that information in the hands of the parties might be enough to ensure things are not covered excessively.

What we need is not necessarily to prosecute but some way to stop such abuse happening, because such things are still going on. Funding for protection services has been cut back tremendously.

Vicars in Ireland and the rest of Europe, those in other forms of authority in this country: exposure of offenders will perhaps allow closure by the victims and education for the masses. We should not trust these bds. We need to check and check again. Nothing should be redacted or closed for a couple of generations.

It got reported on back just before gw2 and was hushed up because Tone didn't want any distractions from his crusade.
What happened isn't a secret, but the names of those involved are.

And just who will sue for libel?
I can't ever see Tone putting himself in a situation where he could perjur himself.

You sound just like Breadvan.

It seems pretty clear that the security services have been destroying the evidence for thirty years. I would imagine that if enough still exists for prosecution there are going to be some security services staff waking up dead in the woods! biggrin

Can we skip straight to the bit that involves lizards, it'll save so much time.

Sir Edward Garnier 'tried to stop Labour MP challenging Lord Brittan over child abuse claims'

Simon Danczuk says former Conservative Solicitor General tackled him on the evening before he was due to give evidence to Home Affairs select committee

One of David Cameron’s former top legal advisers tried to stop a Labour MP "challenging" Lord Brittan of Spennithorne over child abuse allegations in the Houses of Parliament, it has been claimed.
Simon Danczuk said Sir Edward Garnier, who was made Solicitor General by the Prime Minister in May 2010, tackled him on the evening before he was due to give evidence to the Home Affairs select committee in the summer...

Janet Street Porter who has a column in the Daily Mail and started her journalistic career with them stuck the boot into Mrs Danczuk, husband of Simon Danczuk MP, whose book on Cyril Smith was serialised by the Daily Mail:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/11...

Janet Street Porter is the Vice President of the Ramblers Association:

http://www.janetstreetporter.com/jsp_page.php?pg_i...

Is the other Vice President of the Ramblers Association PCC Paddy Tipping?:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/2164674.stm

Before Paddy Tipping VP of the Ramblers Association was a PCC wasn't he involved in Social Services and/or Child Care in Notts.?:

Wikipedia said:
He was a social worker in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire from 1972-1979. From 1979-1983, he was a Project leader for the (C of E) Children's Society in Nottingham. From 1981 to 1993 he was a Nottinghamshire County Councillor.
From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paddy_Tipping

So like disgraced former PCC for South Yorks. Shaun Wright, Paddy Tipping has gone from Social Work/Child Care to a Police & Crime Commissioner role.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11085...

Has there been claims of child sexual abuse within care homes in Notts.?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshi...

I didn't know that there had been more progress on child sexual abuse in Notts. care homes until I started this post. From earlier today:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshi...

I wasn't there so I don't know if the judge said something they shouldn't have during the trial of Operation Daybreak whistle blower Melanie Shaw:

http://www.nottinghampost.com/Sherwood-arson-trial...

Was the child sexual abuse in care homes in Notts. during Paddy Tipping's tenure?

Regarding PCC Shaun Wright and Joyce Thacker at their conduct in Rotherham, Common Purpose gets a few mentions.

Given Tipping has followed a similar route to Wright going from Social Care to Police & Crime Commissioner, and like Wright is a Labour politician, could there be a Common Purpose link there?

Of course Janet Street Porter and Paddy Tipping both being big wheels in the Ramblers Association doesn't mean that there was a link to Janet Street Porter giving Mrs Danczuk a hard time on Loose Women. I reference Fiona Woolf's comments about 'hermits'. There's bound to be connections and overlaps that may not be important and could be coincidental.

I think I've successfully managed to tick the Mumsnet, Daily Mail,Space Lizards and Common Purpose boxes in one post.

I wonder if Janet Street Porter has met Sir Cliff Richard? She has worked for the BBC. And the BBC did work together with South Yorks. Police to smear Sir Cliff Richard, so....

I brought up this topic with two friends of mine recently. One immediately said "I don't want to be a part of this conversation".

Now, either he thought it too wild to even consider realistic, or too distasteful to fully accept.

The latter is enough.

What about the serious claims against EDWINA CURRIE

That she sexually abused a young boy at a party .Witnessed by many senior members of Government and society
Remember...its not just men that abuse

Do a Goggle search if you have never heard about it.

Next. Cliff Richard . The whole "Police, BBC raid " issue was a set up . Designed to try and make the public think that Cliff is innocent . The reason "they" get away with it is EVIDENCE . They all know they have been filmed etc over the years and those that have the evidence control them. JS was a "minder" and thats why he got away with it. It was not just about him saying he would remove charity fundings etc .He helped to collect evidence and made sure people knew they had been "Filmed and would Play along "

The whole of the media should hang their heads in shame . "hiding " behind a 20-30 year old D notice is no excuse . they knew the truth and it suited them also not to print .

Heard a political journalist on TV tonight state that Jeremy Thorpe helped to hide early revelations about Smith, by, effectively, threatening the press, as he thought it would reflect badly on him and his court case, so helping allow Smith another c.20 years at the trough.

If the same happened today, would the young PC use his cameraphone to "save" the evidence incase it went missing later?

Police launch probe into sensational new cover-up claims Daily Mail website 6 Dec. 2014 said:
Detectives are investigating claims that former Conservative Home Secretary William Whitelaw ordered police to drop an investigation into a VIP paedophile ring.

Whitelaw allegedly told a senior Metropolitan Police boss to quash a year-long investigation into a gang accused of abusing 40 children, the youngest of whom was six.

The alleged intervention came in 1980 after a newspaper revealed the country’s chief prosecutor was considering 350 offences against the gang, including allegations it ‘obtained young boys for politicians, prominent lawyers and film stars’.

It seems the Journalist was threatened with the Official Secrets Act.

Didn't the police use the OSA on Damian Green MP for leaking politically embarrassing immigration figures when he was in opposition?

'Because if you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide do you?'

And now Theresa May that's peddling the Snooper's Charter for our own good has sat on five reports from Immigration Inspector John Vine QPM. Odd that.

One wonders with this top down approach who's side the police are are on?

Police and victims should get together and bring cases against the accused. Anyone from the Gov trying to get in the way should be arrested too.

When Social Services around the country are implicated or under suspicion of being involved with the sexual abuse of minors in care homes why is anyone that's been involved with them on the panel?

Are they impartial?
