In both cases I am reminded of people who think it would be a great wheeze to go for a walk on a harbour wall in a force 9 gale. All's well until they get into trouble & when they do it happens very quickly & in most cases with not much chance of recovering the situation.

Gamblers & chancers who think a bit of instability might be "fun"

No thanks.

Which is why i am voting UKIP

as if i vote UKIP it is a 100% guarantee of a labour government

A labour government means a 100% guarantee no exit from the EU

Care to disagree
I suggest you look at the Middleton election. UKIP fell short by approx 600 votes, if the Tory voters just faced reality and voted UKIP they could have kept Labour out. There are a lot of seats in the north where vote Tory, get Labour applies.

This Salmond effigy may be mildly amusing to some, but it's offensive and downright inappropriate.

Exactly!

He should actually be delighted that they know who he is down there. It is a bit of a back handed compliment.

that is the single most retarded thing I have heard on here, and there has been a lot fo stupid comments.

essentially you should vote for the party that isn't doing what you want in the hope they may change?!?

that is the absolute antithesis of how voting works. you quite obviously vote for the party most aligned to your views/ desired actions.

I take it you are voting for the BNP in the hope they stop being racist?
Struggling here

So lots protest vote to a party which had not been in power since 1997 because you don't want to vote for a party that isn't doing what you want? What didn't it do in 1997 and pre?

Given you protest voted in 2010 and helped get a coalition govt which has prevented them doing what they wanted so you want to protest vote again so let's do the maths they have not been 100% in charge by then for 23 years.... Am I missing something?
