As i would hope you are better then being a juvenile ahole
So Scotland having a vote on independence is great. England getting a vote on independence is juvenile and aholeish. If you have a fair belief that Scotland should not be part of the UK, what is it? It shouldn't be because a minority of Scots wanted to leave the UK
Although it seemed to me that it was a bit one-sided that only the Scots should have a say in something that would have affected all of us, it is difficult to think of a fairer alternative tbh.
However, now that a clear majority - much bigger than recently anticipated, at least - have voted to stay in the Union, the matter is settled and, in my opinion, we are all the better for it.
It did seem strange that so many people did vote "yes" when they hadn't truly and fully discussed / agreed / decided on how it would have worked afterwards had they won: Perhaps this uncertainty was behind the greater disparity in the result?
All imho, of course.

Form a party, put it in your manifesto, spend some time convincing enough people to vote for you so you become a majority in Westminster or one of the devolved assemblies/parliaments and you can have one. Fair's fair.marshalla said:

I'm of the opinion if the whole of the UK had voted yesterday, Scotland would be an independent country this morning!
Amongst those I work with UK telco, offices based all over the UK, including Scotland) the overall belief was that Scotland should remain in the union. There was only one dissenting voice, a senior manager who happens to be very scottish, who loudly demanded independence for scotland.Although chatting with a bunch of "labourers" (or at least rough looking fellas) down at the steam room after the gym last night, they just wanted to be rid of scotland. And s. And anyone not typically white caucasian, as apparently that is the only way you can be british.
I'd like to think the majority of people are in alignment with the former group, not the latter.
