'if people show up uninvited, send them back' is what he said and you are referring too. Yet you claim that means he wants ethnic minorities sent home. How did you come to that conclusion from that quote ?
Not very good at reading are you?He flies the flags and knows (how, I wonder?) it annoys ethnic minorities.
Full stop.
New sentence.
He wants uninvited immigrants to be sent home.
I suspect his (and perhaps your) definition of "uninvited" might be different to mine. If they are here and working (as the vast, vast majority are) then that says to me they are ipso facto invited.
You might think uninvited means illegal. You took it and stated it as all ethnic minorities regardless of legal or otherwise.
Only a moron with an agenda would claim such stupidity. You are such a person.
I enjoy how even when something might be considered vague, its OK for you to assume racist and be the judge and declare him wanting to send every ethnic person home when to anyone with a brain can see he said no such thing. I would agree though, you do get more slack when your bigotry isn't focused on ethnic minorities. Give yourself another slap on the back, you are doing sterling work.

He said he knows flying the flag generates hate from snobs and also he believes migrants don't like it
I think he said it was because "ethnic minorities" don't like it?I'm not sure why he would think that tbh, I've never met anybody who had a problem with the St George flag. I suppose the question is "why would he fly the flag deliberately to annoy ethnic minorities?"

And who do we think he means when he says "ethnic minorities"? Is he talking EU migrants? I'd go as far as saying he means people of colour. Just hazarding a guess.
Why would he want to do that?
And he must mean the Calais illegal immigrants when he says "uninvited". I mean, who else can he mean?
And regards the union flag. I think Turbobloke has a point. Even I knew there wasn't "no black in the Union Jack" in my single digit years. I'd go as far as say the flag of st George treated the same back then (80's/90's).

Sigh
I'll repeat for the hard of thinking; I didn't say he wants to send all ethnic minorities home.
You are the one to drop the R-bomb so far in this thread. You see accusations of racism and furiously defend them, even when they don't exist.
Next time you just want to be bigoted, try making it clear. Saying "he wants ethnic minorities sent home" when it was quite obvious he is talking off illegal immigrants, is twisting it to fit your agenda or just piss poor ability to think on the subject. I guess saying ' he wants failed asylum seekers returned' doesn't quite fit the image you seem overly keen to want to create. Sorry I picked you up on it.I'll repeat for the hard of thinking; I didn't say he wants to send all ethnic minorities home.

Isn't the whole basis of the story and many of the comments, that flying the St George flag is a bit of a type that Mr TFK is keen to push ? You wouldn't also say over recent years that it has been hijacked by the EDL and BNP and everything that goes with that ?
I haven't seen a quote to say he does it deliberately to annoy ethnic minorities, I did read one he said he did so knowing some don't like it. Maybe that's his experience ?

Never judge a book by its cover.
The cover was entirely correct. Turn over the page and we see a foreword by Nick Griffin.Furthermore, you also think it conduct befitting a representative of our legal system to do likewise?
If there was one decent bit of the whole muliticulturalism experiment it was that at least we should view people different to ourselves as being human. If you genuinely feel that anyone who is white, heavily built, shaven-headed, drives a white van and has St George's flags on his house/car/Facebook pages etc. etc. is racist scum then you're disconnected from reality and reason.
It's fascinating how the racism element is brought into this argument-
the insinuation being that england flag/white van man MUST BE racist, but the seeping judgemental bile, the rabid onslaught of petty derision projected by those putting him down has far more in common with the insecurity that generally underlines racism than anything this chap has yet exhibited IMVHO.

I think you are the one who is disconnected with reality and reason if you think people don't make judgements on first impressions, we all do it.
And if you are a representative of the law of this land it is your job - your moral and legal duty to exercise the strictest self-control in this regard.Do you really want barristers making these sort of snap judgements [sic] about people?
I don't think anyone agrees with her sending that tweet. She should have just kept her opinions to herself. An opinion, no doubt many people, going on their first impressions, had when they saw the house and bloke in question. By the way. I don't think anyone at all, even the silly Doris who sent the tweet, was turning their nose up at the house, van, or even the dirty oil stained driveway. The frontage, adorned with three st George flags helped me paint a picture in my head of what the guy would possibly look like. I was pretty much spot on too, and I'm sure, if some of you can stop kidding yourselves and stop with the bullst, so did you. We ALL do it. The sensible ones amongst us just shut our mouths
What did the original tweet say, along with the photo? I reckon she was implying that the picture typified the ukip voter and why they won that election, not that she thinks st people live in Rochester. I don't even think she was having a dig at the house, nor van. I reckon what made her think that was the flags smothering the place.
And I don't think there's one person in this whole country that genuinely looks down their nose at a van owner/driver. They keep this country ticking (although some do drive like s!).
I get judged every day by my appearance. A mixed race guy with a beard. I get dirty double take looks all day, every day. Friends give me all the "shoe bomber" and "terrorist" st! Passers by, people sitting in the cafe at breakfast, walking around Tesco, all give me the corner of the eye look. Some even just stare to make eye contact, to let me know of their disapproval. I've nearly come to blows with people when I've asked why they're staring at me (if they'd just look down at my plate of double egg, bacon, sausage chips and beans, they might get a hint, the bloody half brainers!). I thought I was being cool growing a beard too!
Everyone has opinions. It's just some, unwisely express them opinions. On twitter.

Anyone who lives here who is annoyed by someone else flying the flag deserves to be annoyed. Certainly not pandered to.He flies the flags and knows (how, I wonder?) it annoys ethnic minorities.
What do you reckon?
