Probably trying to avoid being bumped off. She must know exactly what went on, I doubt she'll ever get to tell it.
I believe from the start that Epstein was not in charge .He was set up .And Ghislane was more of a “Handler” . She might never be seen again . Depending on the outcome she might receive a medal in private and live a very secluded life .Or she gets whacked. She was not just on the surface of this . She was connected to who set it up and who gained from it all.
Going to guess that rather than a big conspiracy, a small one with the close circle of Epstein and lots of information held on quite a few people in the event of an accident. All in a safe place. Certainly the time taken to get to the island and ranch hints at hinderance somewhere. What was in the New York safe is still a mystery?

Apparently adult grooming is a thing too. I don’t know if it necessarily needs an air of vulnerability about the victim, but I think would be helpful if precise and structured official guidelines on how to safely woo someone could be produced. Same goes for seduction.
I think you are being deliberately obtuse.

Like those people who claim you can't ask a work colleague out on a date or send a girl flowers without it being classed as harassment or something.

If you can't decide for yourself what actions will or will not get you in trouble with the Police, then it's perhaps best if you just stay at home and don't talk to anyone.

It really isn't difficult.
I think he’s being deliberately funny.......... wink

Isn’t he?

So, not to denigrate his experience, but seemingly not exactly in the line of fire.
Just being on a ship down there was in the line of fire. Flying exocet decoy and search and rescue considerably more so. My dad served down there, he recons Andrew's service was absolutely legit. Credit where credit is due. Not that it has any relevance to the current ststorm.
Indeed, I'm no military man, but it strikes me that acting as a decoy for anti-ship missiles is, by its very nature, "exactly in the line of fire".

But also, as you say, not that it has any relevance to the current ststorm.

Ghislaine is the key - she can save or bury Andrew. I understand she has not been seen for a while. Her side of the story will be nitroglycerine.

I really hope he is.

My relief that there are sane people on PH will greatly outweigh my shame at not recognising his humour.

Her side of the story will see her locked away for a long time, hopefully.

This story actually makes conspiracy theories plausible, I wouldn't be in the least surprised if she washed up somewhere after "committing suicide".

Here in Belgium it got 12 minutes on the lunchtime news (yes, I was bored enough to time it).

I think Diana's death was the last event which achieved as much airtime over here.

I'm not seeing this as a PR success...

Frank7 I have to say I think you are pretty much on the ball although most on here seem to disagree.
I can see the point been made . And worst still is today Many mothers are happy to see their daughters been around rich older men etc . This is a very different form of “grooming” than the Bradford method. Many of these girls are almost into it .
Grooming is grooming; the only difference is in the nature of the inducements and the abuse inflicted.

Oh aye - the fact that there seem to be what you would surmise are recordings of all the great and good who fancied a turn on an underage girl means that she probably has the life expectancy of Jeffrey Epstein.

Different generation. they grew up where celebs like Bill Wymen shagged 13 year old girls and thoughT nothing of it.
Wyman may have thought nothing of it, but we Stones fans who were around at the time weren't impressed.
In his defence there was only one, and he did marry her, so I presume it was consensual. Her mother then married his son. Strange times.

I am not sure there is really any defence for any 47-year-old nobbing a 13-year-old?

Once again Frank7 I completely agree with you,no excuse for Wyman but all this tear jerking for the blonde bint HRH has allegedely given one too I don't get. If anyone on here wants to do some good then send some money to Dr Denis Mukwege who has treated over 54000 victims of rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo over the last 20 years. Some truly horrific life shattering violence to women.
I just don't have any sympathy for some bint that liked hanging out with rich dudes who would buy them nice things!

I agree. Nobody needs guides on what they should or shouldn't do.

Stating that he wasn’t at the nightclub on the given day, but was at a pizza place, is surely easily proven.
There will have been numerous staff/management/witnesses/cameras to prove he was there, if he was.
So if the daily rag fail to come up with proof in the coming days, he wasn’t there
Which will cast doubt on the rest of the story

Let’s see how it pans out in the coming days
Either bang to rights, or innocent

I'd say that has a great shot as misogynist of the year as well as dinosaur. Looking forward to awards night!
