Isn't that better known as victim blaming?

His logic, though that word doesn't describe his thought process in any sense, is that the Jewish community have not been sufficiently vocal in condemning various actions by Israel. So he reckons they deserve it. No polite words to describe him. Mayor for 18 years.

Therefore you have, for just one example, on the occasion of a Davis Cup tennis match between Sweden and Israel in 2008, a welcome reception was organised for the Israeli players. The venue was kept secret, taxi drivers bringing guests were given addresses several streets away. Guests had to walk several blocks to the venue through streets that were closed and under the protection of Säpo, the Swedish Security Service, a sort of cross between Special Branch and 5 to put it into familiar UK terminology.

At a Protest in Malmo they shouted:

“According to local media some chanted: 'We have announced the intifada from Malmo. We want our freedom back, and we will shoot the Jews.'”

Think Theresa May needs to welcome the persecuted Jews to the U.K. This extremism in EU countries is quite frightening.

I have no problem with that.

Sadly Corbyn and Momentum will! rolleyes And since they are essentially the go to people for the BBC expect bad headlines.

And then TM will issue a statement just like she did after Trumps re-tweets. Ignore the ACTUAL terrible events in the videos. Blame the messenger for the retweet.

And I could well imagine our incompetent law makers saying it's better for the Swedes that we take the criminals/terrorists from Malmo instead! rolleyes

To be honest, I think the flack Trump rightly received was that he probably thought Britain First was a group worth supporting. Which they're not and he pretty much endorsed them with two clicks of his sausage fingers.

Although there was more outrage about the fact that he retweeted a video of a gay man being thrown off a building than the fact a gay man was thrown off a building

This may be how you have perceived the outrage, but it's not the opinion I took, nor shared in the post you quoted.

He could have shared a video of Britain First wishing everyone a white Christmas and it'd have had the same reaction. Hope this helps.

I already know stuff like that happens and so do plenty of other people. Why he decided to retweet stuff he didn't understand (e.g. when/where was it, why was it done, who are Britain first?) was more significant to me.

Probably because someone was convicted (and executed) for throwing him off the building.

Some would argue that it "cancels it out" better than it would do when someone gets murdered in the UK. Not me though as I don't support the death penalty.

Your post certainly comes across as that, what difference does the conviction make to a tweet?

The remarkable thing about this is that for the first time, at least officially, immigrants from the middle east and far left groups are mentioned when it comes to anti-semitism.

The last time a study was made about attacks on jews in Sweden, 2005 I think it was, the results were somewhat hard to digest for some, 5% of them were carried out by right wing groups, 25% by far left groups and around 65% by muslim extremists.

i think the first important issue would be are they reporting facts or making things up?(i don't know, i haven't read them) the next important issue would be , if they are reporting facts why are the msm not reporting these same facts ?

the lack of msm reporting on certain issues these days leads me to believe that at best we get selective reporting on news. never a good thing in any circumstance.

Uhm, because nobody gives a st what happens in some German equivalent of Swindon or Wigan. Events are cancelled on security grounds all the time. Apart from professional, perpetual victims. Yawn-worthy.
