Uhm, because nobody gives a st what happens in some German equivalent of Swindon or Wigan. Events are cancelled on security grounds all the time. Apart from professional, perpetual victims. Yawn-worthy.
I'm willing to bet that if an Eid celebration got cancelled due to security concerns you would be upset by it.
Your lack of concern for antisemitism shows you up for who you really are.

What are you willing to bet? And I'll take that bet.

Please tell me who I really am.

Btw, how's EDL/BNP following going? Still going around filming their gatherings for youtube?

Seems well up on what dudleybloke is doing, so I'd go with one of her favourites: "stalker".

Oh the irony.

No because they have not marched outside my house for a while. And hopefully they won't again as it ruins my Saturday and I have to park a few streets away.
Do you support any other antisemitic ideologies apart from Islam?

Oh, cmon, don't be ashamed of who you are. I do like the 'when have you stop beating your wife' question, but it takes someone infinitely brighter than you to pull it off.
Why would you think that I support Islam, it's not like that I'm following them around and videoing their marches, is it?

Once again, to help you get it into your small, bitter mind, I do not follow them, they like to march outside my house. The only effort it took me to "follow" them was to walk outside.
I could have filmed them from my window but I wouldn't have had the best angle due to the light.

I've also filmed a peace for Palestine march in the same street.

So by your demented , bitter logic I am also a supporter of Palestine if filming something means you support it.

Documenting something does not mean you support it but in the case of these geese I am a huge supporter.

the lack of msm reporting on certain issues these days leads me to believe that at best we get selective reporting on news. never a good thing in any circumstance.

Bild seems to think it newsworthy, even quoting references to 1933-45 and cancellation of open air Jewish celebrations and how anti-semitism is unfortunately everyday for some.

Bild have a historical pro Israel stance of course given Axel Springer, which doesn't necessarily make the reports less or more correct

My comment was a reply to why 'msm' are not picking up the stories.

As for antisemitism. The annoying thing about it it's been picked up and parroted by the 'zomg muslim' brigade, by people who never visited Dachau, Treblinka or Jasenovac but are told it's cool to use the word by Breitbarts of this world.

I think that all religions are daft, and actively despise extremists belonging to any religion.

there is a slight difference between anti-semitic goings on in a sthole town in England and one in Germany - I wonder if you can guess what that might be and why it is of concern.....

fair enough , the apparent rise in antisemitism in recent years may or may not be of concern to some, i personally thought it might be newsworthy but i take your point. like you i am not a fan of any religion and certainly not the extremists of any religion.
i have noticed over the last year or so the tone of your posts appears to have gone downhill. maybe i am just missing them on other topics but you used to be one of the posters that posted interesting replies even if i didn't agree with some, particularly on the more nuanced topics.

From an Oslo university study it seems that Sweden has a problem at least in how it's Jewish population perceives the anti semitic climate, and that the perception is that it is clearly a muslim extremist and left wing originated problem.

Both of these graphs come from victim surveys so will have their own bias.

I'm someone who's been brought up on a diet of 'never again' and yearly visits to various concentration camps to make sure that I remember history. So, I'd say I was exposed to horrors of pogroms and holocaust more than your average person. So I don't take kindly when I'm schooled on antisemitism by a BNP/EDL following numpty.
I think that a lot of perceived antisemitism today is partly fashion by people who see themselves as alt-right, and employ binary logic of muslim bad, i don't like them, therefore Jew good.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but godfather to my son is a Jew. He was disowned by his family for marrying shiksa and refusing to circumcise his son, and we are talking about very educated, successful people, not some backwater rejects. IME, and I lived in Golders Green for a few years, antisemitism these days is overhyped. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, of course, that, unfortunately, it does, but I think that perceptions are magnified through the internet, and social media.

The Uncomfortable Truth About Swedish Anti-Semitism

nytimes said:
Today, entering a synagogue anywhere in Sweden usually requires going through security checks, including airport-like questioning. At times of high alert, police officers with machine guns guard Jewish schools. Children at the Jewish kindergarten in Malmo play behind bulletproof glass. Not even funerals are safe from harassment.

Jewish schoolteachers have reported hiding their identity. A teacher who wouldn’t even share the city where she teaches for fear of her safety told a Swedish news outlet: “I hear students shouting in the hallway about killing Jews.” Henryk Grynfeld, a teacher at a high school in a mostly immigrant neighborhood in Malmo, was told by a student: “We’re going to kill all Jews.” He said other students yell “yahoud,” the Arabic word for Jew, at him.
