Erm, what?

And if you meant:"Democracy doesn't include the right to be stupid" - actually, yes it does. Freedom of conscience is a pretty fundamental pillar of a free society.

Considering the Hilary has admitted she illegally used a private email address the whole time she was SOS; and has handed over transcripts of what looks like only a small number of her emails from that period. Which would also be illegal, it looks as if anyone can run.
It wasn't illegal, they turned over tens of thousands of emails and only kept back personal ones, all emails to officials are automatically stored, no classified information is involved. It's a non story. And her name's spelled Hillary, remember it, she's the next leader of the free world..

Evangelical right wing tea party Canadian. Even his own party find him to be absolutely bonkers. The GOP base will love him because he's as nuts as they are so he'll be in for the long run before Jeb moves wildly to the right to outflank him and the other wackos, thus making himself unelectable. (See McCain, J and Romney, M). It's the republican formula, it's a losing formula but it's all their own. hehe

It may be a pillar of a free society, but that doesn't make it acceptable to believe in creationism.

Anyway, Freedom of conscience is set aside in many instances if it is against the law. Eg under Incitement laws.

Let's not argue philosophical points, let us marvel at the stupidity of US political wannabees that make Miliband look like a genius.

Scott Grafton used his own email and did not send confidential information but was fired by Hillary. So one rule for her another for him.

She says she has released 30k emails; know one knows yet since the release is hard copy only. This is about 20 emails per day. Well below the average in business of 147 per day.

She said she has deleted about 30k as they where personal and that no confidential material was sent. She would say that of cause.

Its only a non story because she a Democrat.

Lets hope our American friends vote for some one else.

Of course it's "acceptable", just as it's acceptable to have any religious, ethical or political beliefs, provided the practice of those beliefs does not infringe on anyone else's freedoms. What kind of a fascist are you? biggrin

Besides, the Big Bang Theory is old hat, don't you know

I see from the news that the Cruzer is actually Canadian, and have since learnt from extensive research (5mins on Wikipedia) that my understanding of the eligibility rules for POTUS was all wrong, you just have to be born a US Citizen rather than physically on US soil (as I'd previously assumed), which makes the earlier "Barry is a Kenyan" nonsense even more absurd.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution sets the requirements to hold office. A president must:
be a natural-born citizen of the United States;[note 1], (Foreign-born American citizens who met the age and residency requirements at the time the Constitution was adopted were also eligible for the presidency. However, this allowance has since become obsolete.)
be at least thirty-five years old;
have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least fourteen years.

A person who meets the above qualifications is still disqualified from holding the office of
president under any of the following conditions:
Under the Twenty-second Amendment, no person can be elected president more than twice. The amendment also specifies that if any eligible person who serves as president or acting president for more than two years of a term for which some other eligible person was elected president, the former can only be elected president once. Scholars disagree whether anyone no longer eligible to be elected president could be elected vice president, pursuant to the qualifications set out under the Twelfth Amendment.[69]
Under Article I, Section 3, Clause 7, upon conviction in impeachment cases, the Senate has the option of disqualifying convicted individuals from holding other federal offices, including the presidency.[70]
Under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, no person who swore an oath to support the Constitution, and later rebelled against the United States, can become president. However, this disqualification can be lifted by a two-thirds vote of each house of Congress.

Rand Paul certainly seems like the most sensible of the lot. Hillary is as hawkish as the GOP hardliners, I've no doubt she would happily expand Obama's death squads and see them involved in further overt conflicts.

Nope. Care to refute anything I said?

For the record I have no love for either party in the US currently. Two wings of the same bird.

Funny how some that haven't a clue about the thread, just seem that they just have to post something and then admit they know squat.....

The rethuglican party haven't had a decent candidate since GB the 1st...even RR had his faults but the country, (well most of it), just liked him as he was a "gosh darn it folks" type of man. But the guys at spitting image had an insight that was exploited perfectly.

Hopefully Billary will win, she'll get my vote BUT with the rethuglicans controlling the houses, its sort of back to slick willys days again.
