Another one bites the dust.

"Former UKIP leader Diane James has resigned from the party, saying it is "time to move on"."

Conscious effort to attract Northern labour voters that voted for Brexit.

Note no place for Ms Evans as yet.

I've seen Nuttall on telly, he comes across as a monosyllabic thug.

Maybe it's just his public persona.

Do you honestly think that, or is that just your internet persona?

I've always thought he speaks pretty well - more honest and concise that 99% of politicians.

Can you share any examples of him coming across as a "monosyllabic thug"?

On the run up to the Brexit Referendum, he appeared on TV quite a bit. I can't remember exact debates etc but his all went pretty much the same. When asked a relevant but awkward question he'd just shrug.
I couldn't quite believe NF would want him appearing in public.

He sure aint that great, but then I'm not sure in Northern working class England that Corbyn, Abbott and Thornberry and co are really that appealing either. Ukip's glory days are over.

Apparently Arron Banks isn't a Nuttall fan. If he stops propping them up they're done.

They're already effectively bankrupt and I wouldn't be surprised to see them fold as an entity within 6mths. One final big knees up (a Proper fking Lunch in UKIP parlance) when A50 is triggered then turn off the lights and go home.

Seeing as how Labour are now an officially anti-EU party, it's hard to see where/how UKIPs are going to take significant vote from them.

UKIPs is over.

I'm inclined to agree, their days are numbered IMO.

Isn't he the nutjob that wanted referendum on abortion? The 'we are 100% behind church on gay rights issues'?

Not quite. I think he wanted to discuss reducing the number of weeks at which an abortion can be performed. He is also apparently in favour of more referendums (referenda?) in general, so suggested doing this via a referendum.

Bald man with Northern/Scouse accent must be a thug them. I took the time to find out more about him today he isn't thick and he isn't a thug.
4 million people who voted for UKIP are not going to just stop voting for them as for them the alternatives just aren't there. With the exception of Parliament they are well represented in Councils, Europe and the Assemblies. People want change the Genie is out the bag now and the old status quo of a Labour Gov followed by the Conservatives blaming each other isn't appealing to lots of people. If by 2020 the European question isn't resolved I think UKIP may do rather well. Don't know who my UKIP Candidate was last year but what happens in the next few years will go a long way to how I will vote next time. It will not be an apologist for Castro though.
