Where does that leave the passionate Faragettes still here, still jerking away?
It leave them scratching their little heads wondering how exactly they were fooled into voting for them during the last general elections.
Or alternatively it leaves them thinking.........good job done but if not - I'll be back wink

The only people jerking over Farage seem to be you, Popeye & some junior whinger that plagerises to present comments as his own...a circle of jerks I would say biggrin
No, some of us are pointing at his lying bigoted ways, whilst others leap to his defence.

It is the Faragettes playing Farage biscuit, no one else. I'm surprised you keep darwing attention to your favourite fantasy figure.

Go on admit it, as the person that starts more posts on Farage than anybody else, you want his babies don't you.

eta I don't give a flying fox about his lies (they all do it) were Brexiting and that's all I care about biggrin

Does anyone else know, or indeed care what this Farage biscuit twaddle is, or is it just someone just being an obnoxious argumentative tt?

No idea either.

I always view pejoratives as an easy way to identify, and thus ignore, childish posters on PH - on all threads and subjects.

You mean when someone just resorts to calling someone a tt?

It is always interesting to see who defends against any Farage bashing.

Name calling also, unless the person being called is in fact acting as they are being called wink

As I said, it's a useful cue for me in all threads on all subjects on PH. That even applies to posts from people I might otherwise agree with!

No defence of Farage from me, criticised him for years, before the 2015 GE, plus before and during the referendum, clearly stating he was of more hindrance than anything to the Leave campaign. You probably ignored that, as you usually do anything which doesn't fit your agenda, or turn it into something that wasn't said, eg accusation of defending Farage.

So if Farage bashing is still the current tactic, it's not particularly effective if people don't know or understand the insult du jour.

Mind you probably not telling you anything new about how I regard you slasher.

You just count the posts in a thread, the minute detail, the replies to every reply etc.
You soon work out whose obsessed.
Me I say thanks UKIP very much. You got what you campaigned for and without you its unlikely IMO that we would have got the referendum, let alone the result.
For all the cries of racist etc (water off a ducks back with me) they were just part of a redressing balance.
Well done and thank you

Now that Carswell has auto-defenestrated, will UKIP do away with the other cuckoos in the nest, Reckless and particularly Hamilton? If there are tory troublemakers stirring st Neil 'brown envelopes' Hamilton would be at the head of my list of suspects; I still can't fathom why they let him join in the first place.

This is why this thread just keeps giving.

His good looks?

He is not representing a political party. He is representing his constituents. He's popular, and considered very good MP that he'll walk it regardless of party as he did last four times.

Bless. And they say it's not true that kippers are rude thickos.

And no, he didn't represent thieving kippers, who got their knickers in the twist, when Carswell didn't want to take the money. I believe he said; 'Go to Brux, to do your thieving'.

Simple, thieving scum.

And still funny.

What do you think that link proves? It's not that, like some, he changed his tune over the period of three days. I'd imagine that at the time he felt that way. Things have changed; he found that kippers are, by and large angry, thieving scum and decided that he doesn't belong there.

You keep repeating that Popeye thing, and I'm sure that it means something to you, but I have no idea what you are on about. Saying that, if it makes your old age feel any more bearable, feel free to continue to use it.

The quote you've excised from my post refers to the ghastly Hamilton person. Carswell has justified not stepping down and seeking re-election on the grounds he's only left UKIP, not joined another party, and he can serve the people of Clacton just as well as an independent MP as one with a party whip; this seems a reasonable argument but I'd be curious what the opinion of the local populace is.

I've no idea what relevance someone's looks have; my current MP is objectively better looking than the one he beat at the last election, yet he's much worse as an MP, doesn't answer letters or emails and his office staff give incoherent answers to phone enquiries. The previous guy looked like a garden gnome yet managed to be a diligent if unexciting constituency MP.

To shove it right up jjlynn27's 'still funny'. rolleyes

Seems ol' Farage might have been right all along about him then? (Carswell)

So much so that a full highlighted context is warranted.

Carswell also ruled out leaving the party and becoming an independent MP
saying:

"I am 100% UKIP and I'm very committed to UKIP, I'm not going anywhere."

And Farage always harped on that Carswell was a Tory plant.

Nah, don't be silly everyone said, that's just the usual preposterous Farage.
