Indeed. What is "anti-white drivel?"

Meanwhile, some Gerard Batten genius:

2009 :
"We can't do anything about murderers, rapists and paedophiles coming from the EU"

2011 : Batten spoke at the "Traditional Britain Group" who want to deport non-white people from Britain; their vice-president called Doreen Lawrence a “n****r” and broadcaster Vanessa Feltz a “fat Jewish s**g”

2013 : European Union
"inspired by the Nazis"

2017 : Ireland
"a tiny country that relies on UK for its existence"
"the weakest kid in the playground sucking up to the EU bullies"

2018 (reiterated) : Islam
"Death cult"

So after that dodgy spell with Bolton and his racist girlfriend, a return to safe mainstream politics for UKIP. smile

JFS is very much right about, and that doesn't make him a kipper.

Farage did contribute significantly to changing the future direction of this country
The missing and obvious continuation is that he did that by exploring fears of the underbelly of society. The aged of middle England who saw the world changing and couldn't make sense of it. For people like that, who felt uneasy with bold heads and tattoos of EDL/BNP and similar, Farage was the one to tell them; "it's ok to be homophobic and xenophobic. It's natural to fear that they'll come here and rob you, or at least, take your job. It's someone else's fault that your life didn't turn out as planned".

Rhetoric in itself is nothing new. Packaging was what was selling the idea, and he knew his audience. Those people now have a new messiah in JRM.
And you can't even get the PH'rs user name right........ So I'm going to question the validity of the quote and also question if we have someone else who selectively modifies quotes in order to make them say something else

Hey chums, I have just checked my diary and I am due to be Leader of UKIP for two hours on 14th April, but I have a dental appointment on the same date. Can anyone swap?

I haven't been offered a crack at the job! What makes you so special? I suppose I might be a bad choice given that I don't hate foreigners and I have never eaten my own shoes.

I'm afraid you'll have to brush down your literacy skills.

Will you register the Sherpa as campaign HQ, and get a grant to remodel it? There has to be some way to monetise your 2 hours at the helm.

It's an easy gig - you just have to look a bit like one of the Nazis from the first Indiana Jones movie.

Good call. Park it far enough from home and it's totally legit. Also, can argue it is a site of specific national importance.

May I point out that while my Sherpa van is a POS, it is a BRITISH POS. You may think that it smells of three week old Ginster's pies mingled with damp despair in the back, but that is the smell of FREEDOM, I tell you.

My only concern would be, in subsequent years, finding a sufficiently robust and rust-free piece of bodywork to affix the obligatory "blue plaque".

In the week Ukip collapses, a new Remainer party is born....to almost complete silence. Both don't look to have any future.

I told you it was perfect for UKIP HQ, although the word "resentment" is strangely missing from your post.

"Over the last few years me and my colleagues have spoken at lots of schools and colleges and even in that space of 13-and-a-half years I’ve noticed how politically correct, left-wing, the audiences are in schools.

“Not so much in private schools but in state schools certainly.”

I suppose if the above quotes are representative of his world view then thinking schools (not public schools of course) are too lefty would be a side effect.

Good taken it with good humor - always appreciated thumbup

Clearly you didn't go back and copy it - so you wrote it as you remembered it and assembled the quote coding around it - getting it wrong in the process - I have doubts that it would be 100% accurate on that basis - but if you want to link me up to where it was originally posted feel free to do so.

Here's a little tip for free - if you want to keep track of what someone has said it's much easier to quote and save the quote

I did that with Jawknee regarding his support for Corbyn (for a rainy day)

Do Labour voters actually believe that JC can lead? And lead them to a better future?
Yes, definitely.
JawKnee said:
Labour have won every by-election while Corbyn has been leader and increased their vote share in 75% of them. They fared better in the local elections than many were predicting. In May Labour were neck and neck with the Tories in the polls.
JawKnee said:
This leadership challenge has no doubt hurt the party's ratings but once it is over I fully expect the polls to narrow a great deal more.
JawKnee said:
Then roll on 2020. The way Theresa May is going, the next election will be a stroll in the park for Labour.
JawKnee said:
Labour will be in government in 2020.

Won all 4 by elections under Corbyn. Increasing vote share in 75% of them. Labour are serious. They will win in 2020.
