It seems that Lycra is not the invincibility cloak we thought it was.

Would it be too much to include a rofl?

One rider broke his back and carried on riding for over 30 miles. What did you do today, cretin?

I assume the OP is trolling. Crashes are reasonably common in road racing; the riders accept the risk every time they race.

OP - are all crashes funny, or just this one?

You can't laugh because everyone nowadays owns a road cycle and they think they are in the TDF anyway, if it was a gang of youths on motocrossers they'd be queuing up to take the piss.

More the fact that one guy broke his back and another his neck. Not seeing what there is to laugh about. The ones that weren't hospitalised are hard as nails and just shrugged it off. Bit like Contador last year, when he rode with broken leg.

But hey, can't stop biscuit laden keyboard warriors having their fun.

The appropriate analogy would be a group of motocrossers in a race - i doubt anyone would think a bad crash there was funny either.

Ouch!

You can almost feel the gravel in the wounds from looking at the images!

Surprised they don't have protective clothing considering the speeds they get up to?
