Jesus. A man who is apparently too timid or stupid to ask a member of the public to move a bag or coat or ask whether a seat is empty is seriously trying to suggest he should be PM, a role that will involve negotiating with the likes of Vladimir Putin?
Between Jeremy Corbyn and his trains and Owen Smith wanting to have a referendum on the referendum, I am really struggling to decide which of them is the least credible candidate.
That's just it, neither of them are electable.Between Jeremy Corbyn and his trains and Owen Smith wanting to have a referendum on the referendum, I am really struggling to decide which of them is the least credible candidate.
Tories must be laughing their Sox off.
It will be many years before Labour are even going to be considered remotely capable of putting a government together.

At least the guy is trying to highlight and support the plight that many rail passengers find themselves in, http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news...
http://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/commuters...
You can find loads of press reports on poor rail service overcrowding etc.
Being a regular rail user I believe Corbyn is right to highlight the plight of rail users should he have chosen a different time and place.........its debatable and may be reasonable o argue he possibly should have.
When Virgin say they had spare seats, you only have to look at first class and you will often find spare capacity, in the mean time in cattle class people are often not able to get a seat.
So here is +1 for Corbyn at least trying to highlight the issue the average person has when traveling
And here's a -1 for not reserving a seat. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/commuters...

There's no good way to slice the cake - no reservation in the first place, lied about the circumstances, made it worse by making up preposterous stories, cynical politicking, who is going to pay for 'very expensive trains' he envisages and why will nationalisation make the situation better - don't you remember 'British Snail'??
It's fking ridiculous that this guy is in charge of a major party (unless it's a false flag op out of conservative central) - he couldn't run a bath and is completely deluded to boot.
Second: "Major Party". Is it? It was but is it still? If so then it seems a fair bet that it won't be in the very near future!
His latest defense makes no sense at all...
"There were empty seats but not two together so I couldn't sit next to my wife..."
So instead of sitting apart from your wife on two separate seats, you STILL sit apart from your wife, but decide to sit on the floor and make a video about it?!
I guess "Boo-hoo, look at the state of the trains, I can't sit next to my wife, instead I'm two rows back and on the other side of the aisle" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

Being unable to defend the indefensible lies, the Commies are on the attack to deflect attention.

What a monumentally pathetic excuse! So, he can't sit next to his wife so he acts (even more) like a five year-old and has a huffy strop in the corner! What a total fking nobber."There were empty seats but not two together so I couldn't sit next to my wife..."

It would be bad enough if that were actually true - it isn't, of course, he just made it up to cover his arse. He got on the train with the intention of making a video about how crap private sector transport is (in his opinion) and was intent on doing just that. He is a narcissistic crack-pot who cannot accept that he cannot have his own way all the time.
Jeremy Corbyn does exactly what Jeremy Corbyn likes, whenever Jeremy Corbyn likes with no consideration given anyone else or even whether what he wants to do is right. He reminds me of Martin Sheen's character of the US president in The Dead Zone: "The missiles are flying gentlemen!". I really do hope to Christ that he never gets into Government or we are Royaly fked.

Branson isn't going to like that. The question is will he reply or deem it not worthy of a response.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37173048

And now the other commie pinkos are live blogging the traumatic experience of taking the 11am from London to York. The humanity!http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37173048

Except it doesn't seem to be going according to the grand plan...

Forgotten in all this is the story about whether Britain’s train passengers are getting a fair deal. So I’m heading off on the 11am Virgin train to Newcastle this morning from Kings Cross. How crowded is it? Will I get a seat?

So I got the train without a hitch. It doesn’t seem to be hugely busy. In fact, I’m slightly worried that it will be mostly full of journalists.

From the comments:Why didn't a Guardian journo try sticking his privates into a dead pig's mouth after Cameron's "piggate"? Just for the experience of course.

I think a lot of the people (and seemingly Corbyn) in the aisles don't realise that a reserved seat is fair game if the person who reserved it doesn't turn up. Halb said:
Well, that article still brings up the rather inconvenient truth that at the point that Corbyn's lot said he got seated after people got off the train hadn't actually stopped. Were some folks thrown off then? Guardian Pick comment said:
We need fresh thinking. Why not make public transport completely free and create a Universal Basic Income. We could pay for this by not renewing Trident and by reinforcing HMRC to collect in full from corporate tax dodgers. These two measures would utterly transform our country.

Don't want to dissuade you from your view but have you tried to reserve a seat on a fully booked train? you can buy a ticket but you can't reserve a seat There's no good way to slice the cake - no reservation in the first place, lied about the circumstances, made it worse by making up preposterous stories, cynical politicking, who is going to pay for 'very expensive trains' he envisages and why will nationalisation make the situation better - don't you remember 'British Snail'??

Carl Jung once commented in that "Thinking is difficult which is why most people Judge"
I suspect that this press article has been dreamed up by a spin doctor the underlying issues are real so why and be so negative about someone who genuinely wants to improve the lives of others?
