So many news discussions seem to be based on or morph into a discussion of how the news item was covered by the BBC. It's getting rather tiresome.

As I have suggested before, there are so many threads with massive BBC content that it may warrant its own special thread - or perhaps even a BBC Forum all of its own.

That was the first part of the aircraft found, so is quite significant in itself, also other parts may have been found/washed up.
As one of the worlds major news channels they would have looked a bit silly not having people on the ground as the solution to one the greatest mysteries of the modern age was revealed.

They don't have any advertisers to worry about, so why do they always follow the bought and paid for media?

If its ratings they want, why not just privatise it?
