Pretty much with Stewie on this. It's not about left or right this guy is a drug dealer and was always going to be a drug dealer now someone in the UK is dead I suspect also a drug dealer. Had we deported him then someone in Jamaica would also likely be dead
But if we follow that logic there's no point in deporting anyone, since they'll just keep committing crimes in their homeland.
Not really.

Stewies logic was that British law and processes needed to be followed.

Respect for the rule of law is foundational to democracy. Circumventing it and ignoring it when it is inconvenient leads to the collapse of democracy.

These types of stories are cannon fodder for extremists. It's easy thinking: they're a bad guy & don't deserve rights.

The problem is once you begin to start believing that criminals don't deserve rights, then you've got the thin edge of a wedge. Suddenly people start finding that they're criminals because they believe in some faith, or because they have some political view, or because of who they love, or who they have children with. And because they're now criminals, they don't have rights anymore. And when that happens, bad st happens.

And that's extremists of any flavour you like. The protection against any extremists is to maintain rule of law, and respect for human rights; no matter how difficult or disturbing the case.
