Well, I guess there is a difference in law, as one word doesn't actually exist (as you correctly point out).

30 seconds googling reveals that the Crime and Disorder Act was extended from just racially aggrevated crime to cover religiously aggrevated crime.

I don't see this as standing up to the Islam invasion - I see a narrow minded, racist person whose forgotten (or doesn't know) that the colour of your skin should give you no special treatment in this country.

Yes, I can see how people have issues with the (relatively small) amount of immigration we're seeing in the UK from the middle east (compared to mainland Europe), but to just randomly pick a group of Mums and liken them to a very nasty terrorist group is bang out of order, and she should have the metaphorical book thrown at her.
