Rees-Mogg is a narrow minded snobbish bigot who uses religion to excuse and sanitise his often misogynistic attitudes. He has little understanding of life in the real world outside the Westminster bubble and old boys' network. He has also addressed what is at heart a white supremacist group's get together. I won't name it but it sounds like the KKK for posh people. I suspect that some arch Brexiteers want Britain to become more of a tax haven for their posh mates as EU regulations whilst cumbersome are useful. Then it'll be easier to flog (I use the term advisedly) weapons and so on to any dodgy regime we fancy.

Man of the people Jacob Rees-Mogg predicted a leave win in the referendum, those inside the Westminster bubble were shocked by the result. Taxes on businesses and personal incomes reduce job opportunities and the prosperity of everyone.

Yeah, I’m sold, that makes him a “man of the people” and no mistake.

it may not make him a 'man of the people' - however it does mean that he has his finger on the pulse far better than many of his contemporaries in the HoC who may be.... shall we say 'more salt of the earth' than him?

I would say his finger is anywhere but "on the pulse" when it
comes to his stance on abortion.

I can't blame the guy. I said it earlier... A lifetime of being exposed to nasty Sky Fairy arse gravy indoctrination... and he believes and repeats Sky Fairy arse gravy doctrine. Who would have thought it possible???

A Foetus or Embryo is not a baby.

You are in a room that is on fire and there are also present (1) a six month old baby, and (2) a box of viable but un-implanted human embryos. You can't carry both to safety. Which do you leave behind?

It's not a baby. Up-to week 9 it's not even a fetus. Given that most of your posts could be distilled to 'omg, lefties!' the above post is hardly surprising.

Well I'm convinced - there's no way that Jacob Rees-Mogg could be inside any Westminster bubble, he's just so down to earth.

Ignoring the emotive language yes. Given that the majority of Britons support the availability of abortion yes. The pulse is in support, he is in opposition.
