Well, apparently they did put some boards up before the bridge about it, and took to twitter to reassure.

Was announced on the LBC news yesterday morning that the bridge was closed for filming - didn't hear the bang though.

It certainly look pretty spectacular in the clips I saw. It must have been pretty horrifying to those who didn't know what was going on.

I didn't think film-makers did stuff like that, I though it would be either blown up elsewhere and super-imposed or else done by CGI.
