"David Cameron is expected to warn"
"The PM will suggest"
Gotta love pre-leaks. It allows politicians to chicken out if it gets a bad reception.
Camps like the jungle only exist because of the cowardly inaction of politicians. So is he saying he's a useless coward?
We knew that Dave, we knew that.

David Cameron is expected to warn that migrant camps like the "Jungle" in Calais could appear in south-east England if the UK leaves the EU.
This doesn't make sense, even if it were true that the border would move. Presumably if there was a 'jungle' near Dover it would be because people were trying their luck at getting on the back of a lorry over to Calais. My instinct is to vote OUT but I could be persuaded by a strong IN argument. However the more bullst I hear from the PM and establishment the more I want to vote leave. Why can't they just be honest and admit the EU has massive flaws and this deal isn't particularly good, but then make their argument for why staying in is still better than leaving?
I just don't buy the scare stories that we are going to face economic crash and be 'swamped' by immigrants if we leave the EU.
I'm also disappointing that there doesn't appear to be a strong left OUT voice at the moment. In my view the EU is very much a neo liberal project that represents big business and the elite. For those that favour left / social democratic policies I would have thought getting out would be a good thing as clearly the EU will not allow opposing policies to be implemented by member states. Just look at TTIP which could really have huge implications for the NHS.

Seems to be the answer to just about every aspect of leaving, and one which makes me think we are better off out.

But surely a train or ferry company will just be like 'well fking get off or were not moving!'?
Indeed. As with the airlines, fine the ferry companies €500 for everyone without proper papers who arrive in the UK and this would be a very theoretical issue.R8VXF said:
I think what is being alluded to is that the French would not be doing any checks on exit from France (so as to rid themselves of the problem), so yes they could just get on the trains or boats and arrive on our shores. Currently, the British immigration is on French turf and vice versa.
The French never have, it is the British who check the passports for those leaving CalaisCarreraLightweightRacing said:

If they have a ticket then the companies will allow them on board if there are no official checks being made I guess.
What like the airlines do?R8VXF said:

I would have thought it would be pretty easy to legislate that transport providers have to carry out checks for valid passport or face significant fines, because otherwise they are surely people smuggling?R8VXF said:
I didn't realise it was airline staff working at passport control/immigration. Fairly sure no ferry company staff do any checking of Ids, same for The Channel Tunnel.
Tell me when was the last time you checked-in for an international flight without showing your passport? Currently Ferry Staff don't because there is border control. Remove that and it would be the ferry staff.R8VXF said:

What like the airlines do?Nonetheless do we check passports / paperwork etc anywhere else in the world or is it just France?
Belgium is not much of a detour if needs be rather than be blackmailed because we had the audacity to leave the EU.
