People made valid points about how Farage has encoraged casual racism.
Do you really not see that?
Racism needs challenging, not tolerating.
I must have missed this. When did anyone last night do this? Do you really not see that?
Racism needs challenging, not tolerating.
Sure, I heard some people accuse Farage of encouraging racism, but I didn't hear any actual evidence presented. It was just bare-faced race card playing so far as I could see.

Every time I hear him speak he comes up with even more bks.
Come the election ... Farage will be spending 14tn on the NHS, will have us out of the EU in weeks with free everything and everyone will be a millionaire. He's an opportunist idiot.
Its no different. Come the election ... Farage will be spending 14tn on the NHS, will have us out of the EU in weeks with free everything and everyone will be a millionaire. He's an opportunist idiot.
Apart from the nationalism/racism angle of course.
Why do idiots fall for it, eh?
Editing peoples' posts is without highlighting is just not on.
I shall go back to ignoring you.

People are taught to be bigoted, racist, it isn't in anyone, it is not part of our genes, you are taught it. Looking down on people with a different colour skin to your own is a big problem the world over. Just go to India and hear the way those from the north talk about those 'darkies' from the south. It happens the world over, and usually by those that either live in an area where they never experience different races and cultures or in areas where different cultures don't mix with each other or come in at a fast rate and change what was there previously. Do you really not see that?

While people who do have concerns are ignored they are also not being educated, and if we don't educate them nothing will change.
It is people like you that cause racism by not listening to peoples concerns. Stop it!!!
I think that racism comes out of tribalism, which in turn comes out of our need for form social groups for safety/common good. We will naturally form bonds with those around us. That's genetic.
People will form alliances or groups around almost everything, cars, team sports, country of birth, town of birth, religion, colour etc. We need to be taught that we don't need to fear/hate etc someone who does not fit into whatever group(s) you belong to.
I might be talking bks though

Anyone else notice the Corbyn-bearded militant junior doctor who said he would have no part in identifying patients or otherwise checking if they were entitled to free care or should be charged.
Well you jumped-up pious little ponce, you have a strict legal and fiduciary duty to act in the interests of your employer. So if you don't like it sunshine get another fking job.

In practice he wouldn't be doing that anyway, its the administration staff who would have to go through the process of checks during patient registration. That process happens before treatment unless you are an emergency admission into A&E, in which case they work on you then sort the paperwork after.
This is what happens the world over, why these hipster doctors think we should give away our nations wealth and infrastructure for free is beyond me. Just from unclaimed EU citizens its costing us hundreds of millions whilst the rest of the EU charge us for treating British Citizens when in their country.

As creatures we spend a lot of time conditioning ourselves away from genetic behaviours. Again to "fit in".
That said, the groups we find acceptable are likely to be very "nurture" driven. So I suspect you're both right.

To add to that the proposals I saw were for routine procedures, not emergencies, and were an attempt to combat 'health tourism'.wsurfa said:

You are wrong Farron, when I had to take a workmate to hospital in Italy before treatment he had to give his ID, he used his passport and driving license.
Same for me in Sweden, I was then sent a invoice. This was an A&E type location (suspected broken ankle)Rovinghawk said:

One of our gang turned his knee inside out in a drinking accident. Again the treatment was superb, but he avoided the invoice by snaffling the all paperwork and suppositories they'd given him and hopping off on one leg into the teeming crowd at high speed. He's still got the white coat and stethoscope he'd borrowed to dress up in whilst bored.

Didn't matter a damn. They wanted euros before they would look at his gaping head wound.
