According to Twitter the Greenie said something about 'we shouldn't spend 40% of our money on ourselves'. I missed this, can anyone confirm it and give the context?
They were discussing the 0.7% Foriegn Aid Budget The Co Leader of Green Party (with only one MP) Felt quite OUTRAGED and DISGUSTED that we keep so much money to ourselves when eleventy billion around the world are starving - and we are the fifth biggest economy and yada yada yada - you get the picture.
If our politicians have put the country £1.5 trillion into debt I think it is reasonable that we should at least not need to borrow more to fund these donations.

In reality QT has become a joke over the last 10 years. Staged audiences refusal to answer questions
For every Mr Starkey and Mr Rees Hogg there are dozens of soundbite chaps and lassies. Throw in the overly important "celebrity" whose views are no more important than Mabels at no 95 and it's a recipe for a farce
You omitted Dimbleby's utterly inadequate performances as chairman. For every Mr Starkey and Mr Rees Hogg there are dozens of soundbite chaps and lassies. Throw in the overly important "celebrity" whose views are no more important than Mabels at no 95 and it's a recipe for a farce

I suppose the main question is why anybody in their right mind would want to watch political bickering at this time of night? Surely there are better/more exciting things to do? Sleep????

It's warm up material before This Week is on! Also the occasional eye candy - usually a journalist.Biker 1 said:
If anything, it seems things have actually got worse.....
Certainly Angela Rayner was a dreadful panellist. I hope it is a long time beforeshe appears again.
She shouted over other panellists too much. I think she does not know the rules of debate
and her points were of a value that made even well known lightweights like
Dianne Abbott and Owen Jones look clever.
Dimbleby should have done his job properly and reigned her in much sooner.
Old Tory bloke and Vince Cable were much better behaved, said far less but were much
more insightful in their analysis.
Mind you, no SNP or Welsh on this week's QT. Halleluyah !

Thought last weeks jeering audience was bad and a one off. Sadly this weeks was pretty awful too. Rayner really annoys me and I was amazed at Cables honesty on tuition fees, that silenced a few students in the audience. Does seem to be heavily pro labour audiences in the run up to the election. I like Dimbelby but he needs to chair the debate and stop it when panel shout over each other or the audience screams so loudly you can't hear the bloody panel.
