The guy who read out that leaflet from Didsbury mosque was told the hate on it was "out of context". It was official mosque literature ffs.

The chap talking about the weird compatibility ideas spread my mosques and those dreaded 'community leaders' that talk a lot of being proud British Muslims, but which when looked at seems part of the problem was on the money. The Muslim young lady near the end was also talking sense. Maybe just a sad coincidence, but the two Muslim women who feel the need to cover where talking bks.

I've seen much worse in Manchester mosques.

I thought Nazeer Afzal spoke some sense.

Amber Rudd seems a bit clueless - having boots on the ground is vital for intel - she seems to think our security services get all their intel from the community.

It will also be interesting to find out what was done by the Intel supplied to the Police about this geezer.

I haven't watched it yet, but in fairness a lot of related intelligence does come from 'the community' - the statistic was quoted in another thread and was surprisingly (pleasingly?) high.

Burnham - Labour.

Who is this Parry guys from some peace-nick outfit? Another SJW lefty type? May as well say Labour.

And Amber CRudd....hardly the best minister is she? So no positive effect for the Conservatives.

That tilts it in Labour's favour, doesn't it?

Colin Parry had his son murdered in an IRA bombing in Warrington in the 1993 He was 12 years old. He has been involved in some considerablke charity work since then. He has behaved with total honesty and dignity ever since the murder of his son

Just watched this and it was actually quite sober viewing and not what I (and many here I suspect) expected.

(Rhetorical statement alert)... I don't understand those that are saying that some mosques are breeding and promoting extremist views (eg the chap talking about Didsbury mosque) are not responded to by the politicians on the panel? If he hasn't been interviewed by the police or intelligence services by now then you don't need to look far to understand why events like those on Monday take place.

It's easy to point a finger of blame after the event, but this guy (and many others) are giving warnings now... who is following up on them?

I'm very much a Tory voter but I've a lot of time of Andy Burnham - Labour would win the election next month if he was leader imho and he'd possibly get my vote if he was my MP.
